Steak was chewy. Prosecco wasn’t served cold enough. Were not made aware for our 4pm booking that kitchen didn’t open until 5pm. Super slow service considering restuarant was empty

My favorite spot in Canary Wharf for a late night out! The atmosphere is lively, the drinks are excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is fantastic. Maggie gave me a tour to help me find the table I liked best, and Sofia looked after us throughout the night. Speisekarte ansehen

As a regular at Hawksmoor, I decided to give Lowback a try, and I had an amazing experience! The customer service was excellent, and the dishes were incredible—on par with the quality of Hawksmoor, but potentially a bit more affordable. The cauliflower and chicken starters were delightful, and the steaks were, as always, perfect! One noticeable difference from Hawksmoor is that all the steaks come with triple-cooked chips, which are undoubtedly the best side dish ever! Overall, it was a fabulous experience, and I will definitely be returning!

Overall portions and quality of food was great. I made the booking on behalf of my sister who was visiting London and entertaining my 12 year old who lives here. My husband , son and I always have the roast in the lowback, hence making the booking for my sister . After the roast there was a lack of ice cream choices after the rolo dessert).. they were offered rum and raisin or chocolate sorbet which can’t be a thing as sorbet is without dairy) sister asked if any others and why it was not a more child suitable or teen suitable offering only to be told we are not a restaurant or child one. Which to be honest I considering the number of family diners and repeat customers is not great messaging...

Not a single staff member checked on us during our meal, and when I asked to see the menu again to verify the ingredients, the staff member didn’t bring it. Fortunately, my partner offered to swap meals, so I ended up having his steak instead. Additionally, we both found the chips to be excessively salty—despite my fiancé typically enjoying salt. Overall, it was quite a disappointing experience, as neither of us was able to enjoy the meals we had ordered. The waiter did remove the cost of the burger and chips from the bill, but it was still disappointing given our anticipation for a nice meal, especially considering we'd paid a good amount.
