The Lowther Arms Country Inn

Food was home cooked and fresh. Traditional country pub and good service. Varied menu. Having moved to the area recently we visited today and really enjoyed it. We will be back again.

This pub is our favorite spot in the area for a delightful and peaceful meal. Every dish we have tried has been absolutely delicious. It is definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area.

A fantastic place to go for Sunday dinner, the beef was cooked to perfection and lots of options for Gluten Free requirements. Really friendly helpful staff and warm welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be returning Speisekarte ansehen

Stayed overnight for a meet up with friends, comfortable clean room with complimentary bottles of water, tea, coffee biscuits, great breakfast nice meal in the pub the night before, plenty of parking spaces, a lovely little pub!

Excellent food and service in a beautifully decorated pub , really enjoyable, calm atmosphere and we all had a lovely meal. Can’t wait to go back. Decent portions too unlike a lot of places these days that leave you hungry going home!

I love that the food is delicious but also there is choice for me vegan) and my partner who isn’t . It’s lovely to be able to go out for a pub meal and not have the usual lack of choice . The environment is lovely too . I’d recommend for anyone . Speisekarte ansehen

The homemade food at this restaurant is incredible! There are plenty of gluten-free options available and the chef is very accommodating. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy delicious food.

I have visited this restaurant several times and it is the best Sunday dinner I have ever had! The service and food are both excellent, I cannot praise this place enough. The owner and staff are outstanding and they serve a delicious meal. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I was fortunate enough to stay at the his gorgeous pub for 2 nights . The room was amazing, the breakfast was awesome . I had a full English the first morning and the second morning I had toast served with a variety of jams . Cereal with yoghurt and a pot of coffee . I had dinner both nights and couldn't fault the meals . Seafood crumble was soooo good as was the scampi . The garden was so beautiful with all the flowers in bloom . Pots and pots of them . The atmosphere in the pub was sooo English . The pub also caters for travellers in motorhomes . Park for free as long as they buy a meal . Thanks Eric . Speisekarte ansehen
