The Malt At Landywood

Another great night at the Malt, food, staff , service always excellent. The new soup last night was amazing Thankyou team Malt see you soon. Just like to say the last 3 reviews definitely didn't eat at the Malt!!!!

Lovely meal again at this great Pub.Been a few times but last night TUESDAY It was extra special !!! The reason been we were served by Lauren who was so smiley and efficient and also the Chef that was on last night his food was outstanding. Thanks to the whole team see you soon...

First visit to the restaurant yesterday for Sunday lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent food, attentive service and a friendly atmosphere. Have already booked again for when my Brother and his wife visit in October. All that was missing were some proper pepper mills on the table! Speisekarte ansehen

Food was amazing for a sunday lunch with a friend.Very well presented.We both had the beef roast.Beautifully cooked,pink in the middle and juicy with the biggest yorkshire pudding i have ever seen.Sides of vegetables were cooked perfectly.Everything was just lovely,we will deffo be returning.

Just perfect Awesome location Absolutely stunning decor Great menu My boys had the largest ever fish with so many chips and the other had the finest fillet steak I went for the beef noodles they where so special We had the best service ever from the young service team You must try this awesome place

5 of us Arrived an didn’t get served a drink after 20 mins so I decided to get my own. Service was non existent. When main course arrived, tasted lovely. I ended up pulling a hair out of a mouth full of food. On the quite took it over to the waitress and she said sorry. Definitely will not be going back in a hurry. Speisekarte ansehen

Avoid if you have allergies intolerances or don’t like fingers in your hot chocolate! I have severe egg allergy, to be fair they didn’t give me anything with egg in, but as the deserts without eggs don’t exist Vegans not accommodated they made up a fruit salad. I asked that they didn’t use citrus as I’m intolerant. However it came with 4 large chunks of reddish citrus maybe blood orange or red grapefruit

Impromptu visit on a sunny Sunday afternoon. They were thankfully able to accommodate us. There’s no garden as such to sit and eat outside really, unless you want to be on a busy road but the inside more than makes up for this-the place is stunning. Now I’m not one for a Sunday lunch but this blew me away! It was delicious. Perfectly cooked beef with the trimmings. The OH said he would have liked some mash with his for a 5* rating but I didn’t feel the meal needed this. Perfect crisp veg and huge yorkies! The price is very good for the meal you get. I’ve recommended to family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to return if local in the area-would like to try their generic menu too.

We arrived 5 minutes before our allocated table and went to inform the staff that we were there. We were told that our table wasn’t quite ready and asked to get a drink and wait in the bar area. The restaurant wasn’t that busy at all and there was a table for two vacant. We assumed this wasn’t our table otherwise they would have seated us there. We waited and waited, other couples arrived after us and were seated before us. A member of the bar staff asked if we were ok and we told him we had been waiting for 25 minutes. I think he went to check because all of a sudden our table was ready and lo and behold it was the table that had been sat empty and they could have seated us when we arrived.... Speisekarte ansehen
