"We have had a coupe of takeaway's from here in the past, both very nice, but not eaten in till a couple of weeks ago, the venue was chosen for a family gathering by one of the group that uses it regularly, we were not disappointed, the food was lovely, so we decided to go again Saturday last. We were really impressed the the quality of the food, the presentation and speed of the food coming out was also 1st class. It is unlicensed, so it's a take your own place, (there is a co-op next door that sells all forms of alcohol, the staff are more than happy to provide you with glasses, ice etc., We found all the staff to be very friendly attentive, without being over the top, the take away service was busy constantly, the waiter said the majority of their custom is either delivery or takeaway. The place is very clean, the chairs are a little tired as are the toilets, but overall very good value for money, we will definitely be going back, well worth a visit if you haven't tried it yet."

"I'm coeliac so have to have gluten free i looked on the uber app and could only see one gf item so I called the shop who then told me to call the kitchen and gave me a separate number ,I called them and specified that I required gf ,he told me I could have chocolate gf cheesecake but that option wasn't on the menu online ,he then told me to go back on uber make the order for a ordinary cheesecake and then put a note to say I want this gluten free ! What a palaver for anyone who has allergies or dietary needs surely they can make it easier for us if that option was already on the menu !! Anyway delivery time wasn't bad cost was £30 but the cheesecake was still half frozen and had a dark chocolate taste nothing special at all ,the brownies were stodgy and very average so I was told ,the best was a hubba bubba sundae ,overall overated overpriced and can get better tasting food from tesco"

"We were visiting the RAF museum nearby and managed to book this little gem. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Social distancing in place with hand sanitiser available. Bonus was all meals are 241 and then they are also doing the government eat out to help out scheme so 7 of us were able to eat out for a very reasonable price. They also had a nice size beer garden. Would definitely recommend"

"We have been dining at Odfellows for more than 8 years and have never been disappointed! We made a reservation for August 21st to celebrate my Father-in-Law's birthday. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Danielle and her colleague who provided excellent service, as always. We ordered two lamb roast dinners, fish and chips for our main course, along with delicious starters and desserts. The food and service were exceptional, as they always are - we always rate our visits to Odfellows as 10/10! As a local, I highly recommend Odfellows to everyone we meet, in hopes that they will also attract new customers from further away."

"My hubby and I went to this venue for a midweek lunch and it was amazing. We had a ciabatta each which came with an amazing salad and we ordered chips as a side. These too were fresh, hand cut, well seasoned and absolutely divine. On the basis of that we booked a family lunch for five of us which we had today. I was a little disappointed if I 'm honest. Our party included my mother who is in her 70 's and now generally eats 1 small meal per day. When ordering we asked if we could order a child 's portion for her as it seems such a waste to order food that is definitely not going to get eaten. We were told I 'll ask but he doesn 't like to do that, he says if it 's an adult they have to have an adult meal. OK fair enough so we ordered 4 starters and 5 roasts. The starters arrived and were to die for. Absolutely amazing! Plates were cleared in record time! Not so the main courses, I had beef which was tender in places but was also very sinewy, contained lots of arteries and inedible bits. However the guy on the next table also had beef and his looked amazing. Also on the plate was a Yorkshire pudding which was not very crisp and tasted like it had been reheated but was not awful just a bit disappointing. There was lots of things on the plate which the kids weren 't keen on such a braised red cabbage and sweet potato mash. I can 't say the meal was horrible because it absolutely wasn 't but after the excellent lunch and starters we enjoyed it wasn 't what we expected. We were disappointed. The lady behind the bar knocked the cost of one of the kids meals from the bill as compensation. However, given that the prices for any of the Sunday menu aren 't displayed we were none the wiser."
