The Old House At Home

Place was clean, friendly, good menu and selection of beers. Portions were really well cooked and large. Good 1st time experience.

this pub is all a perfect pub should be and more, has a welcoming environment, friendly team, fantastic house made eating and great selection of drinks. Moreover, it is in a picturesque village with walks round. simply perfect.

Nice. Beer tasted good. The Sunday roast, I am told, was excellent, the risotto tasted good but had either not been cooked with risotto rice or hadn't been cooked long enough. Still gets a five though and the staff were very friendly.

Nice warm welcome on arrival staff doing a great job during busy times in keeping the attentive service going to all customers. Great menu with food arriving hot if your having Sunday roasts etc I would highly recommend the old house at home.

We've been visiting this lovely old pub for more than 30 years. In spite of having had a couple of changes of ownership it has never failed to come up trumps. There's always a good choice of real ales and a good menu of well prepared food. The staff are also excellent.

Popped in sans reservation Friday lunchtime. Warm welcome from cheerful staff.6 real ales, 4 lagers, 2 ciders. My chum had prawn and avocado sandwich, I had liver and bacon. Both very good, very decent portions. Really good experience. Also felt valued as a customer. Well done Ladies!

What a place to find in the middle of nowhere. Walked here from a campsite (just over half an hour), 6 different real ales on hand pump including Summer Lightning. It had the feel and customers of a local pub, the food was that of a fine restaurant and the staff were so friendly it was unbelievable. If we go back to the campsite again will definitely go back.

The perfect stop for late lunch while on a walk alongside wheat fields with that amazing golden glow...the staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The meal was wonderful and have to say the ice-cream at the end was just what the doctor ordered on a hot day....thank you all at The Old House at Home....when I'm next in the area I will be popping in again...
