Just been for Sunday lunch. Excellent couldn't fault it. Food good quality and plentiful. Staff friendly and attentive. Will return.

A lovely meal well presented , beautifully cooked. Compared to a meal of a similar price last night this was of a different standard. Service was very good too. Would definitely recommend this for friends to try and will be back if we are in the area again.

Will not disappoint… So tasty, gorgeous atmosphere, lovely outstanding Staff. The Sunday Roast is simply the best in the area, the ambience of this lovely place is just lovely, always book as limited tables. Maybe a little bit more expensive than others around Padstow but…. When we arrived, we were welcomed in this quaint lovely restaurant. The staff were very accommodating and friendly couldn’t do enough for us. There was a good selection of locally produced fresh food, it was hard to make a selection off the menu. We will definitely return next time We are travelling down this way

I had an amazing meal at this restaurant, which offers a menu featuring locally sourced fresh ingredients. The flavors, presentation, and service were all excellent. The cocktails and wine selection were impressive for a small eatery. I dined here while staying as a guest at the Old Mill House and highly recommend both experiences.

We chose The Old Mill Bistro for a celebration birthday meal and we are so pleased that we did! Lovely, friendly service and amazing food which was locally sourced and beautifully presented in ample portions. I stayed at this restaurant for a night to explore the nearby beaches. The location was perfect for visiting Padstow, just a 2-mile walk on a scenic off-road footpath (or a quick 5-minute drive). The rooms were beautiful and well-equipped, and the full English breakfast was absolutely amazing, with locally sourced gluten-free and dairy-free options available. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure that nothing was too much trouble.

Outstanding! Great welcome, casual fine dining with quality fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. Small but creative menu showcasing locally sourced produce. As others have said, without doubt this was the best meal we have eaten locally, well priced and with good filling portions. Adam, chef, and his charming wife Lesley (owners for 10 years) and the rest of their team should be proud of themselves, the bistro and of course that delicious food. Almost tempted to keep this to ourselves but that wouldn't be fair. We chose Gnocchi, Hake, sticky toffee pudding and a cheese plate. Best tasted Try it, can guarantee you will want to return!

I had the best meal of the weekend at this restaurant! We started off with a complimentary bread basket and butter, which set a high standard for the rest of the meal. The starters were amazing - we tried scallops, mackerel, and monkfish scampi, all of which were perfectly executed and presented beautifully. For the main course, we all went for steak and the peppercorn sauce was the best we've ever had. My fillet needed a bit more cooking, but this was quickly rectified. I was the only one with room for dessert, so I went for the cheeseboard, which was also delicious. Overall, the food was exceptional and this restaurant is truly a hidden gem with a talented chef.
