Lovely Sunday roast in a nice little independent pub. Staff were very courteous and helpful and very nice as well. Loved the atmosphere and would come here again if I'm in the local area

Sorry to say but this was the worst Sunday roast I've ever paid for. Hard warmed up potatoes cold carrots chicken had a wierd smell to it. No cranberry sauce,and hardly any soft drinks. They did give a full refund for the meal but ruined a rare family meal out.

Three of us visited The Old Mill today and I have to say their Sunday lunch was delicious. I had a starter and the trio of meats, it had loads of vegetables and we all enjoyed our meals. We had not gone there for a long time and did not know what to expect but we were not disappointed. Speisekarte ansehen

The pub is decent, but make sure to be cautious if you park in the adjacent car park. I missed the sign stating that a parking permit was required from the bar. It may have been helpful if the bar staff had reminded me to get one. Due to this oversight, two drinks ended up costing me £70 after Civil Enforcement issued a ticket.

We arrived late for lunch at the pub, but the staff were kind enough to suggest a nearby sandwich shop where we could grab food to bring back to the pub. They also let us use the customers-only car park for free. We ordered drinks, which were still available, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We plan on returning to eat at the pub during their regular hours. Thank you!

These people need to be shamed, we went in for a drink and two weeks later received a parking fine spoke to staff who did not give a dam just told us to appeal it. Everyone should keep away they only want your money not interested in building a relationship with their customers so that they return!!! The staff should make sure customers are aware of the stupid rules regarding car parking. Speisekarte ansehen

Discovered that many places in Portishead don’t do food on Monday so checks all the online info and it lined good. After a fair walk for my wife who has a blue badge, we went in to be told that they don’t do evening food on Mondays. Really. Unless I missed it I couldn’t see anything. Much as I dislike a certain big chain we went back to them and had an excellent meal at a reasonable price.

Great pub and food, I was there for a company buffet and parked in the car park as you do. I didn't know there was a parking system where you had to register your car and got fined by a company called civil enforcement Ltd. Tried to appeal with proof that I was there in the pub but they didn't care just after your money, shameful. I like the pub and would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the parking issue.

We went to this pub for a Sunday roast with my in-laws, two young children, and our dog. The restaurant was extremely welcoming to children and pets. The roast dinner was absolutely fantastic! The portions were very generous, especially the children's roast. My kids, aged 6 and 3, had plenty to share. We will definitely be coming back again. Additionally, the pub has a charming garden area that both the kids and dog enjoyed. Speisekarte ansehen
