Very good atmosphere, good selection of beers, and good music. What else can one ask for? Slightly young clientele, but still fun

The staff were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. I will not be returning to this restaurant. They need to improve their customer service skills and make guests feel welcome.

We had a lovely dinner and I would just like to say that Meghan is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen. She was so pleasant despite having a lot on her plate. Very impressed!

I'm really surprised the staff attitude has been criticised on other reviews because we thought they were brilliant really friendly and we didn't have to wait long to be served even though it was packed. We went for a 60th birthday celebration which made us at least 30 years older than most of the other customers but we had a great night really good atmosphere and great fun!

I visited this restaurant for the second time and dined upstairs both times. The service was good and the food was decent. The Sunday roasts could have been warmer and there was a mistake with the order, but the staff apologized and gave us a complimentary drink. We had a pleasant experience overall, and the staff were polite, friendly, and attentive, which made a difference.

Booked to have my birthday party here (30th) with around 25 people. We had pre ordered food which arrived and was a fairly good size tasty for the price. The whole evening was however undermined by the staff's attitude. They came across as rude and obnoxious, and treated us coldly as if we were a nuisance. We weren't a group of rowdy teenagers causing trouble we were happily spending an evening there for a celebration, and giving them what must have totalled over £1K in the process. We were also cramped into a room upstairs (right next to the toilet) and were told off for standing too close to the server door when it was clear the actual problem was that they didn't have capacity to host a g...
