Great service and atmosphere but disappointed by the choice of food as lots had run out by Sunday early evening

Really good menu, lots of choice, including vegetarian vegan options. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is good. Only downside is service for drinks is a little slow. Will be back for sure!

Decent food, nice drink selection. Good size pub, very lively and full of people. They had a lot of deals on, which meant even with mains and drinks it came to be really cheap for a night out. Speisekarte ansehen

Great Sunday roast and burger options, chilled atmosphere with great local beers from Gypsy Hill Brewery (my favourite). Very friendly staff and great for the family for a comfortable Sunday afternoon or any time of the week!

After being unable to get into a few pubs, we decided to try out this restaurant and we're glad we did! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time, enjoying the lovely atmosphere, spacious layout, delicious food, and excellent service. We will definitely be returning in the future. Speisekarte ansehen

The staff were great and the service attentive and the food is ok. There are TVs everywhere playing sport, so this is a great place if you want to do that. We did ask them to turn the sound down on the TV nearest our table and they did oblige, but obviously the atmosphere is a little strange with everyone watching screens.

What a massive shame. This pub has such amazing potential but it was like it was being run by people who had never worked in a bar or restaurant before. Nobody could give me a straight answer on what was actually on the kids menu, mother in law is celiac and they had one thing on the menu that was gluten free which was a warm beetroot salad, this wasn’t warm and the salad was like slime. We booked for an early lunch so got there as they opened and tried to order the soup of the day off the specials menu but they had run out! There was nobody else in the pub! The food menu was new and only offered limited Sunday roast options. We each ordered one, but it was disappointing to learn that there was no children's menu available. One of the parents had to leave to find food for their son at a local chippy, which was unacceptable for a family pub. After waiting about 1 hour and 30 minutes, only 4 out of 10 orders arrived, and most of them were undercooked. Despite our concerns, no staff members approached us until we started asking questions and spoke to the manager. We were informed that they had outsourced their Sunday kitchen for the first time, but by 3pm, the chef had still not arrived and amateurs or alternative help were attempting to prepare th...
