So nice restaurant with great service. Two young people who served us tonight were amazing. Nice food and drinks. We'll be back soon.

Lovely little pub just recently reopened. Food is good with decent sized portions. Polite attentive staff. May well become my new local!

Had the pleasure of having a few drinking here since it’s come into new management. I couldn’t recommend it enough! Great atmosphere with such kind and welcoming staff.

Club sandwich was absolutely amazing, however starters (pâté blue cheese creme brulé not nice at all. Very run down inside, not warm or welcoming! Unfortunately I won't be returning!

Even after the EU thrown away the UK using a high power Chinese electric heater inside the shower is not only illegal but is very dangerous. The most insalubrious place I've ever seen. Not to mention the 15th century sink.

Kitchen staff are excellent, polite, quick and efficient. Housekeepers I cannot fault at all. Operations manager is naive, rude, arrogant and wallows in self petty. Doesn't like criticism to be handed back on his own faults, attempts to be cocky.

Lovely pub, food was fantastic. Good sized portions and the dessert was delicious. Nate the landlord was really friendly. I requested no potatoes on my roast and they were happy to accommodate me. They had the football on as well. Good menu with a wide range of choice. They are also dog friendly!

Filthy hotel room. Black mould all over shower tiles and and shower door. Toilet rims and plug holes filthy. Bathroom floor stinking and extractor fan covered in thick dust. Bedding was marked and crumbs/hair in the bed. Mould around the window. Complained to manager to see if we could move rooms but fully booked. Said they would send a cleaner in when we went out for food, when we returned the room hadn’t been touched. Had a £7 refund for the inconvenience. I felt dirtier using the shower than going without one. Honestly it was horrendous

I had visited the Pheasant under the old management a few times and it seemed to be quite a poorly run establishment with a bit of a grimy aesthetic. I found out recently that the place was being renovated under new management so I came by to check it out, the place has done a full 180, it has a warm and welcoming aesthetic now and looks like somewhere I could actually visit regularly. The new management is really friendly and apparently they are launching a new food menu soon which I am excited to come back to try! Really excited to see what comes of this local pub which was neglected for so long.
