If you enjoy a great omelette try this they are superb four eggs and a variety of fillings. Also very good wine selection.

Great location the staff are very nice and they open up the sash windows when it’s sunny. But it is populated with very unfriendly locals so never again.

This is a pub we enjoy more and more they make the best omelette in town excellent service nice friendly bar staff. Today we tried something different The all day breakfast and sausage and mash excellent keep up the good work guys. Simon Ron

Ordered 2 fish and chips and a curry took over an hour to come with no previous warning of a time delay and saw multiple other tables with the same issue once meals arrive still was missing some elements from the description. Overall bad experience with no real apology

I had dinner here with friend one Saturday. We had booked online, but for some reason they did not have this registered. However, we were able to get a table. The food is fine, but nothing special. It's good that there are small portions which are available to adults. The staff were friendly enough, the service adequate. I won't be rushing back though. Speisekarte ansehen

Went here for Sunday Lunch as was in Romsey but we couldn’t find anywhere open for Sunday lunch and we asked someone in the street and they recommended here. Greeted with a cheery hello how can we help. We were given a choice of tables . The menu was quite good besides the Sunday roast. Hubby had the chicken and had 2 large pieces of chicken breast. I had the nut roast. We had about 5 lovely crispy roast potatoes, parsnips, Yorkshire’s, green beans, carrots, cauliflower cheese and gravy which was all delicious and piping hot, couldn’t eat a pud. I have been going in this pub for donkeys years, even back when it was the Tavern. Never had an issue before. While in there on my last visit, a few of our group were asked to leave. When we asked the bouncers why, they were completely arrogant just said we don 't have to give you a reason . While technically that 's true, there are ways to talk to people these jobs worths just don 't get it. I genuinely believe they will cause more issues than they solve. We arrived at 7:30pm with our small, very well behaved Cavapoochon dog to watch our friend perform in a band that evening. There was a doorman on the door who welcomed us in at that time. At 9:15pm we took our dog outside to find some grass so she could go to the toilet. Whilst one of the doorman stroked and commented how adorable our dog was, we were most surprised when the other doorman said dogs aren’t not allowed in after 9pm, you can’t come back in and must leave (he was even reluctant to let us back in to retrieve our coats).
