Plough Inn - Speisekarte

Arrange to meet up with old school friends so it was a mini school reunion . Great food . Great company . Lovely refit .

Often visit the Plough when visiting my father in Soton. On out last visit the menu seemed much smaller in choice and the food was just average but service was good.

The coq au vin was tasteless .the chicken tough and the cabbage not cooked enough. The mushroom was swamped with pasta and very little sauce. The desserts were very nice. Speisekarte ansehen

Service was slow, especially the time taken for food to be brought out and the pub wasn't busy at the time. It took an hour for our food to come out which resulted in us having to rush our meals due to needing to get my daughter to work

my friends and I'm going to plough to catch a few times a year. one of my friends is vegetarian and can always find something to eat so that she is happy to go there. the only problem we had was that the portions of sweet are very small, we would rather be more.

very disappointed. has friends after they recommended it to them. prawn cocktail looked like nothing I've seen before. few small garnels! smaller portion steak pie more baked than meat and huge bucks red cabbage. carrot cut diagonal - do not snugly. fish and chips dry. disappoint after several excellent meals. very pleasant Speisekarte ansehen

beautiful pub. we were not there for a Mother's Supper, it was the only time the related could come together. we had only the choice of the Mother's Day menu, which is very limited. none of the usual favorites like burger or lasagne or meatcakes that men hoped. everything else was nice, but the limited menu (before much roast or vegetarian cake) was disappointing.

we were cordially invited to get a drink at the bar, because the table was not quite ready, we did this, I felt that the price of a coke for my daughter was very expensive. we waited about minutes, then I asked if our table was ready as it was our time that we had booked,After more minutes it was ready. our commands were taken after a short wait and the food arrived immediately. all meal times were right and well presented, I had to ask for a jugof gravy how I had a fry dinner with only one gland gravy on my flesh. While the food is good the service is very poor. We arrived for our reservation to be told our table was not ready. No problem, we waited in the bar for minutes and then went back to find they’d forgotten about us and had no table for us. They eventually found us a table, but it wasn’t laid up fully and they didn’t sort it out. We then waited another minutes before we gave up and went to the bar to get someone to take our food order. After our food arrived we again waited for a very long time and eventually had to call someone over to order the children’s ice creams. They then came out with the wrong flavours.
