I will miss the bouillabaisse and that lemon posset , said my partner wistfully. And you can 't really get a better review than that.

Outstanding food with excellent presentation. It is pricey but you’re definitely paying for what you get. More of a treat night out rather than a mid week evening out but don’t let that stop you from trying it out. Recommending to everyone I know.

We had an early dinner before going to a show and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The fish special was particularly delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. A young lady greeted us and seated us before letting us know that she was going off shift, but her colleague would take care of us. We were well taken care of throughout our meal. Perhaps the hot weather was to our advantage but the restaurant was very quiet so we had a lot of space, and the staffs attention to ourselves, which was really good for us. The food was amazing from the starters to the main and then breakfast the following morning was just 1st class. You have to pay for good quality and high service and in my opinion every penny was worth it.

my man, whom I made for a jubileee. we have been so excited about how it was long since we had thought out. although the environment, the ambiente and the service were excellent and my meal was very nice, my main course for my men was not accessible. the personal was very understanding and apologetic and offered him something else he refused. they have not accused us for his meal, but it did not really help the disappointment. we will, however, try again and hope for a better quality meal.

our waitress was flawless and the wee was a unguter chardonnay delicious. unfortunately the same could not be said for eating. the goat cheese parfait of my friend should have been much lighter, my calamari was crispy, but mostly crushed and our scallops were oily and overcooked. somehow the pea pee had been made to taste the same as the Beetroot pee! our divided eton measurement type pudding was far, but the minegues were also overwhelmed. overall it was disappointing. there were only three guests, including ourselves, how can this place survive? henfield really needs a top-end, quality restaurant for these special meals come, the george, they can be this place!
