such a nice pub hotel! the bedroom was clean and beautifully decorated. the food in the pub was delicious! and the staff went out of the way to be helpful to make our room ready early and take an breakfast as we had to go early. would definitely recommend staying here or hoping for eating. Perfect country pub very close to Winchester in a sweet English village. Wonderful staff who are very attentive, great food and lovely refurbished rooms to stay in with all the amenities needed. Stopped off on the way to Winchester. We received a warm welcome, from the staff. The food was excellent. We a steak and a good pasta. The creme brulee was one of the best we have ever had and the homemade icecream is a must try. The choice of beer was very good. Dietary restrictions: They delt with them very well. Couple, 56 years, Germany Someone here has thought and implemented the concept very well: from homemade fresh food to the choice of colors and furnishings of the rooms.
