Beautiful period pub on a hill overlooking the country side if sat out in the garden is on a A road. Dogs welcome in the garden. Lovely interior design. The food for me could have been better not up to my standard. Friendly staff .

Fantastic service and lovely food. We turned up on a Sunday evening without advanced booking and they found us a table and still made the time and effort to make our dinner very memorable. We really enjoyed our visit and the food was delicious. Thank you so much.

Took a chance on a Sunday (been before and loved it). Seemed like we’d miss out but then the team tracked us down in the car park to let us know of a cancellation! The service, the food and the atmosphere are all perfect exactly what I was after today. Recommended to everybody! Speisekarte ansehen

This place is amazing! Took dog friendly to another level, we were allowed to eat inside with our pup and they even brought us a dog treat for him. Food was quick and affordable, but quality and portion sizes were not compromised! Staff were super friendly, food was amazing, what more could you want!

Me and my girlfriend stopped here on our way back from Bournemouth and just wanted drinks but after listening to another couple reading the menu we decided to have food while we were hear. Oh boy, what a good decision it was! The food was amazing! Could fault a single thing. We will be coming back an encouraging other people to come here as well. Highly recommended.

We've been driving past this place for years whilst commuting to work and never had time to stop until today and we're really glad we did. We were welcomed as we stepped through the door. The service was great and the staff were polite and efficient. As for the food, well, ever wished your plate would just refill by magic? I did today! We had the grilled chicken salad, a side of chips and the ham eggs and chips. Simple food cooked really well. Loved it. Speisekarte ansehen

we have retired as a four-headed family for Sunday dinner, and despite the complete booking, the staff managed to receive us. all staff were very friendly and attentive throughout. the food was excellent; good quality products; some sizes were good and the children's menu was extensive enough to satisfy a 6 year old and a 3 year old! all in all, a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend, but they will probably have to book on Sunday midday.

I worked out I actually hadn’t been to the Plough since Swindon Town beat Leicester in the 1993 play offs and I watched all the celebrating cars coming off the M4 anyway, I shouldn’t have left it so long as this evening my family and I had the most gorgeous roast dinner. I am very fussy about my roasts and I can honestly say this was one of the best I’ve had. Beautiful meat, fresh veg, gorgeous roast potatoes and really tasty gravy. Will definitely be back and won’t be leaving it so long next time

10 STARS IF I COULD! Absolutely amazing! We booked here extremely last minute after being in another swindon pub and waiting nearly 2 hours for our food. We were out for a celebratory meal. We rang the Plough and they could get us in straight away even offered to take orders over the phone so our food would be pretty much ready for when we got there as we explained we had been waiting at this other pub for ages. When we arrived we were greeted by lovely staff our table was ready. As we were waiting for our food they brought out 2 plates of cheesy garlic bread and said it was on the house (as again they knew how long we had been waiting for food).
