"Went here today with friends and had a lovely lunch. Not busy at all so not a great deal of atmosphere. Hope it’s not all the scary news stories. The tables were well placed out, the service was excellent. We had the croquettes to start..., simply delicious , we often bring them back fro Spanish markets (well did) these we on par. Great wine choices . Mains were all great , the burger was delicious, the salmon a great choice, the sausage and mash amazingly presented. They accommodated the older guests with child sized portion desserts. Love it here the staff were brilliant, as was the food. Well done we will be back, hopefully others will too."

"came to bristol airport for a week course close. searched tripadvisor for a decent place to eat and found the plough near with good reviews. grew up at the beginning of Wednesday, but was fully booked. we booked for the next day. we are very happy. the food was lovely and beautifully presented. (good chef). the young waitress was polite and helpful. also beautiful environment. I wish we had found you on our first day instead of our last one. after dinner followed a big pint of stowford press. when I'm back in the opposite, I know where I eat."

"We were served by a wonderful young man who made our experience enjoyable. We felt compelled to change our initial impressions. Three of us are following the Slimming World plan, and we appreciated the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant. I had a delicious jacket potato with mushrooms and bacon, which was very generous in portion size. Everything was beautifully presented."

"This is a true gem of a pub! It's rare to find a place like this nowadays. The staff greeted us warmly and were very friendly and helpful. The food was top-notch quality. One thing that stood out was that they offered a roast dinner every day, not just on Sundays. They also had a great selection of local ales that perfectly complemented the meal."

"This was the first time I have ordered from this restaurant and, in all honesty, probably the last. For a little more effort and care I suspect this could have been a review full of praise. Instead I feel short-changed. The order was placed an hour before they opened and was subsequently accepted and the delivery time confirmed. The app was updated twice to delay the delivery by 15 minutes and then they didn’t bother to do this for a third time, just letting it arrive another 10 minutes later. So, 40 minutes late. Not a great start. When it was delivered it was in an open thin carrier bag, so little wonder it was barely tepid. I had to reheat the food, especially the thin chapatti which was just disappointing. As for the samosa, I was supposed to receive 3 for the £4.50 paid but, instead, I received 1 and they should have been described as mini samosas because they were the small ones you might purchase from a supermarket as part of a ready meal.Little wonder they don’t provide an image of all their food. The curries were very tasty but the whole experience was soured by the fact that delivery times meant nothing to this restaurant. No effort is made to keep the food warm meaning food has to be re-heated and, despite charging a premium price for samosas, they actually supplied 2 instead of 3 and these look like the mini samosas available in bulk from most supermarkets. I gave the restaurant a chance after receiving a leaflet but they need to up their game because there is a lot of competition in the area. With flavourful food, this experience could so easily have been a 5 star affair."
