nothing to say about service and quality, it was very good! beautiful map and good wine choice! prices very correct. The sauerkraut and spatzlés are delicious. game and delicious sauce. but flat on the quantity in the plate for the game dish. and domage that the vermicella dessert of brown is not a real torch to brown.

On a walk in eguisheim we stopped at this restaurant that was known by its staff, its setting and its cuisine charmed us. we made simple with two menus of the day, the aperitif, 1/4 black pinot (excellent) and 2 coffees all for barely 45 euros. We ate very well with a seasonal alsatian salad in the spaetzles entrance and a mix of mushrooms, a pork with rösti and sauerkraut and to finish a homemade pie with apple and cinnamon. a menu without pretention but well developed and good. the staff is fast, efficient and very kind. we will return

This property is located on the edge of Eguisheim (this means about 2 blocks from center). Eguisheim is a beautiful little village in the Alsace region of France. The property is a comprised of several buildings. At the time we were there they were redoing electrical systems which made walking in the hallways a little tricky. The rooms were large and the bedding comfortable. The breakfast at 11 euros each was a little pricey for what they provided. They did have a lift for second floor rooms but the hotel only has air conditioning in some of the rooms (ares not). But the location and price was right.

While on above tour, which is in part visit to several wineries, we stopped at this quaint small town on way to local wine producer. La Ferme du Pape restaurant was suggested by our tour guide. When we walked to it we saw a French couple getting out of their car then going in. That cemented my opinion that this local restaurant was worthwhile we were not disappointed. We were lucky that we were seated w/o a reservation, I imagine because it was a week day we arrive just in time because it quickly filled up. The service was quick by European standards, the servers were very courteous, decorations very quaint, food delicious, well presented, of generous portions. It is a strong recommendation.
