rude service by matron, she should have stayed in the kitchen. that eating was okay. bad and terrible experience when we were finished eating her broke hallelujah

Great local food and very friendly staff. Best flambé tart in town. The owner is a great friendly guy with amazing local knowledge and wine recommendations. Also a great place to stay

during peak times the restaurant is booked, with queues of optimistic tourist waiting to come. both the service and the eating were of high quality meals were generously proportional. the prices were medium.

Good and big meal,time for preparing is fair. The staff I felt his rude,but I kept staying because it was the only restaurant open in the city. All the time after turning back to my table they started to laughter and looking at us.enoyed!not at...all professional! For food 4points For staff 2 points

we arrived on a sunny day and we have very happy to find a place on a cool place, next to the window with views on the outside. we were treated very well and that was good. We enjoyed. the time spent there and completely abandoned. the prices are fair and that was a good surprise for this tourist city.

This is the second time in 18 months we’ve stayed at this little charmer. No on site parking but free spots close by. Our room looked out on the small, awesome town center and was very very comfortable. No lift but easy stairs. AND the...restaurant is just amazing owner chefs cooking packs it nightly with locals and tourists. Make a reservation. Soooooo worth it. Booking again for 2018.

The four of us made a reservation yesterday and we asked for a specific table. For some reason we were told that specific table reservation was not possible. Tonight we arrived as the first guests and were directed to the absolutely worst table in the...restaurant. We were told that the nice tables were already reserved. Obviously this didn't sit well with us so after arguing a little, we got the table we attempted to reserve the night before. Anyway.. the rating is still high. The food was excellent and the staff was attentive. We question salad and more salad with the backoffa menu. But all in all not bad.

This beautiful Alsace village was just decorated for the Christmas market which will start next week friday. The restaurant is cosy decorated in traditional Alsace style. We couldn't reserve a table in advance but lucky enough there was one table left this friday evening. The...service is friendly and flexible. 4/5 We ordered Marmite de Poisson 3/5, crudités 4/5, pâté en croûte 4/5, Civet de Sanglier 4/5, creme brulee 5/5. One glass Pinot noir Alsace 4/5 and green tea 4/5. We enjoyed our meal and the ambiance in this restaurant, the restaurant was fully booked. Total price for the 2 persons dinner euro 76 which is very reasonable for the dishes we ordered.

We visited for dinner during the weekend. Make sure to reserve a table, as the place was packed (we were the only foreigners at the time). They have one menu in English, which is helpful and one waitress that spoke English. Service is attentive, however...it does makes a difference if you speak French or not .The staff seemed to feel more comfortable giving elaborate food recommendations and interacting more with the locals (which is understandable). Food is great!!! Ask for explanation what is written on the board with the daily dishes (its not in the English menu).
