"on Sunday, 4th september I visited a 50th birthday dinner in this sweet intimate restaurant. the arrival were the employees and owners brilliant, really friendly and could not do enough for us. we had the hunch and the bark. they were both cooked for perfection and the taste was from this world. they even asked how we cooked the bark pink or well, this is great as the place always serve pink and I don't like it pink, so this was a really nice option to be asked how I wanted it! for pudding we had strawberry shortcake that was also delicious! everything was fresh and the taste was excellent. if they want to eat something special, then this is the place, or if they don't see a dinner for their birthday or special occasions, they go into this restaurant I promise you won't be disappointed. the food was amazing and the service was two to none! we will visit them again!"

"Mixed thoughts from the 4 of us. One has calves liver and enjoyed it, two had prawn linguine and said it was ok, I had the burger and fries and left 95% of it. The burger was over cooked and very bland, the cheese was barely there and the bacon tasted plasticky. I didn’t want to complain was was enjoying the company but the waitress happily took the plate away without asking if everything was ok and to me that isn’t right. Lovely place otherwise just won’t be returning."

"What a lovely restaurant! We received a warm welcome upon entering and decided to enjoy a quick drink at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. Once seated, the service from our waiter was prompt and polite, and our food came out hot and fast—oh, and it was absolutely delicious! For starters, we had the fried mozzarella, followed by the pan-fried veal with spaghetti and the shrimp with spaghetti. Everything was fantastic! Plus, it was incredibly affordable! We will definitely be back to try more items from the menu!"

"Mulberry House is a charming historic building dating back to 1767, with well-maintained grounds that would be perfect for a wedding. The interior has been beautifully restored and modernized over the past decade. Although our afternoon tea was served in the dining room instead of the usual conservatory due to a large gathering, we still enjoyed views of the garden. The cost of the tea with prosecco was around £35 per person, slightly higher than other similar hotels in the area. The sandwiches were decent but typical, lacking variety. The scones were good, but only strawberry jam was available. The selection of cakes was also ordinary, lacking creativity in their presentation. Our waitress was friendly but made some simple mistakes, such as forgetting to bring iced water when requested. It was disappointing to be charged extra for additional sandwiches and cakes, a first in our experience of afternoon tea. Overall, the experience was average and we likely would not return to the hotel."

"We received a warm welcome at this traditional pub, which features a sports bar as well as a restaurant area. The menu offers a variety of homemade dishes, and there's also a specials board that showcases additional options. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. I'll certainly return the next time I'm in the area. There’s plenty of parking available, and it seems like it would be fantastic in the summer with the outdoor seating and bar area. Expect to spend around £20–30 per person."
