Under new management, lovely landlady making a few changes for the better. New chef who works wonders in the kitchen, great food. Sunday lunch is great.

Such a lovely spot! We were camping at a local campground and it was perfect for our weekend lunch/early diner. Lovely selection of ciders and lush vegan options!!! I had a vegan burger and their vegan cake/sorbet dessert option it was all really lovely. Staff is exceptional as well !! A must if you’re in the area.

I came here with friends for a meal. The bar had stools lined up, making it hard to get to the bar for service. The menu offered basic pub food, which was what we anticipated, and we all liked our meals. The noise level was quite high, making it hard to have a conversation and somewhat affecting the enjoyment of the evening. On a positive note, the restrooms were clean.

One of our random pub Wednesday nights and what a lucky find! got completely lost and ended up on a green lane in the car, such a good laugh and then this pub appeared, beers were great, dogs were very welcome and the food we ate was perfect, staff were very friendly, this is a proper country pub and well worth the visit.
