We had a wonderful family dinner to celebrate my son's birthday. Having dined at fine restaurants around the world, this place met all our expectations. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Although we paid a premium for our meal, the exceptional food and service made it worthwhile. We will definitely return! This is a beautiful country pub, and the renovations look fantastic. The food was excellent; we had steak cooked to perfection, and even though pfefferkorn sauce wasn't on the menu, they accommodated our request. My partner had the chicken kiev, which was deliciously baked. Overall, this meal was much better than what we've experienced at other local restaurants with a supposedly better reputation. I would definitely recommend this place!

This is a charming pub with friendly staff. However, we encountered a few issues with the food. My wife ordered the veggie burger, but sadly, three items were missing: the slaw, pickle, and mayonnaise. Additionally, the burger was essentially a Linda McCartney burger, which was not what we expected. We appreciated receiving a refund for the meal, thank you, but it's important to consider the needs of your vegetarian customers. Food: 2, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 4.

We popped for some lunch last weekend and had delicious sandwiches. The fillings were very generous and it was lovely to sit in their clean, well kept garden in the sun. The food was so nice we decided to book in for a Sunday lunch and took my partners grandparents. The food was again absolutely delicious and the service was quick and very attentive. The pub was clean and had a lovely, cosy, country feel to it. We will definitely be returning again.
