Just had Sunday lunch here with my in-laws who were 78 today. Beautiful meal fabulous staff.....would strongly recommend.

A fabulous meal to celebrate exam results, the lamb and chicken were very tasty and well presented but the award has to go to the fillet. Friendly staff and great puds to finish.

Excellent Sunday roast, could not fault it . We both had the roast beef and it was delicious . The staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back . I think Sunday lunch is most probably the hardest to get right but the gravy was spot on and the vegetables and roast potatoes just like home .

We had a wonderful family dinner to celebrate my son's birthday. Having dined at fine restaurants around the world, this place met all our expectations. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Although we paid a premium for our meal, the exceptional food and service made it worthwhile. We will definitely return! My husband and I are from Germany and were taken out to eat here during a family visit. Expecting some ordinary pub food, we were surprised with excellent dishes instead. It really felt more like eating in a (very good) restaurant than in a pub. The service staff was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return here when visiting our family again.

This is a beautiful country pub, and the renovations look fantastic. The food was excellent; we had steak cooked to perfection, and even though pfefferkorn sauce wasn't on the menu, they accommodated our request. My partner had the chicken kiev, which was deliciously baked. Overall, this meal was much better than what we've experienced at other local restaurants with a supposedly better reputation. I would definitely recommend this place!

Since the last renovation of the Red Lion, every meal I've had there has been delightful, but my experience on Friday was exceptional. The deviled chicken livers were incredibly tasty and quite unique. My duck, seasoned with five spices, was cooked to perfection—still wonderfully pink. And the chocolate torte with salted caramel? Absolutely to die for! The service was excellent, and everything offered great value for money. I also love the new layout; the bar extension and tasteful decor maintain the charm of the old English exposed beams. Speisekarte ansehen
