The Red Lion Inn - Speisekarte

We stayed here in our camper. This dog-friendly pub has very friendly owners and staff. The food was delicious, especially the special monk's dish. We highly recommend this place!

Lovely interior, cosy and inviting. Food unfortunately disappointing. Very dry and chewy steak, chicken drowned and overpowered by a cheese sauce. Unexpected after having read so many good reviews. Won't be returning for a meal.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is friendly. It was definitely worth driving nearly 600 miles round trip to come back. A big thank you to Kath, Dave, and the rest of the Red Lion team for making us feel so welcome.

we had an excellent meal today in this beautiful country pub. we are always made to feel really welcome every time we visit. excellent eating, great selection of real ales and friendly service. would definitely recommend a visit if they are in the opposite.

Absolutely beautiful food and a lovely warm and friendly welcome from all of the staff. Greeted by an open fire nicely burning in the bar in what should be described as a nice traditional pub with all the trimmings, absolutely lovely and please don’t change.

I walked through the door late on a Saturday night tired and weary from the road, I was immediately fed, watered and made to feel welcome by the excellent team. I had a great night's sleep on the campsite and treated myself to their fantastic roast dinner on Sunday afternoon. I couldn't recommend this place enough

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. The portions are huge and the prices are excellent. All of the employees were happy, smiling, and very helpful, even though they were very busy. Thank you to Kath, Dave, Gracie (who served our table), and all of the other staff working today - you were all fantastic! Even our waiter was attentive and cheerful.

have stopped here 4 or 5 times as a couple with 2 dogs. always welcome, and will definitely go a more regular place for us. we were in our camper with ehu, not crowded, much space. eating is absolutely excellent, with a great choice, and Sunday dinner is to die. we have now had the meat teriyaki twice, aswel like the fish and chips more often! the coco prawn starter is amazing! we also had on this 2 day break too, and the steak baguette is honestly the best baguette I had! the personal is also great, eating, service, cleanliness, everything on the spot! many thanks for a Fab stay. by steve, sarah and the doggien: until soon!

I have visited this restaurant 4 or 5 times with my partner and our two dogs. We are always welcomed warmly and it has become a regular spot for us. We stayed in our camper with electricity hook-up, it was not crowded and there was plenty of space. The food is absolutely excellent, with a wide selection to choose from. The Sunday dinner is particularly delicious. We have tried the meat teriyaki twice and also enjoy the fish and chips. The coco prawn starter is amazing. We also tried the steak baguette during our two-day break and it was honestly the best baguette I've ever had. The staff are great, the service is top-notch, and the place is clean.
