"I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant with delicious food, reasonable prices, and attentive service. I ordered the carnivore burger, which was incredibly satisfying. However, I found the cocktails to be mostly ice cream-based, which was a bit disappointing. I'd suggest sticking with apple wine if you’re looking for a sweet alcoholic drink. We chose this spot because it’s a bit off the beaten path and quieter than places in the city center. The service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely recommend this place for couples or groups of friends. Just a heads up: if you're using Google Maps to navigate, it can be a bit confusing, as it may direct you to a restaurant on a nearby bridge instead! There are a few steps you'll need to take to get down to this location."

One of the best spots to grab a snack! I found the prices to be very reasonable, and the food is delicious. I usually go for the feta vergas bake.

I tried the Scottish haggis pie and it was huge with great flavor. The dining area is a bit small, and the waitress could have been more courteous. However, the selection of pies was excellent!

Fantastic dining experience! The highlandries were a delightful treat, and the cocktails were generously sized. The staff was not only beautiful but also very attentive. We will definitely be coming back!

I love this small pie place! They serve a quite range of pies (try the scottish pie, haggis pie or the macaroni pie! and very CHEAP. It also located near the Edinburgh Uni main campus so it's a great place for a quick bite while taking break from your paper and assignment!

I visited this restaurant with some friends and we were not disappointed at all. The food was delightful, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. If you find yourself in Edinburgh and are looking for a great meal, don’t hesitate to stop by!

eating was tasty enough, the setting is almost like a sporty very loud. the staff is busy, but friendly. eating is too expensive. a steak around twenty something for one, but it was well cooked and had taste with a tiny salate and chips. I enjoyed it, but it is not the kind of place I would write about frequently or home.

I visited this restaurant to try the renowned Mac 'n' Cheese Pie during our weekend in Scotland, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The filling was creamy and had a classic macaroni and cheese flavor, while the pastry was wonderfully thin and buttery, yet held its shape perfectly. Based on a recommendation from another reviewer, I also ordered the Haggis Pie, which was my first experience with haggis! It was fantastic and almost matched the mac and cheese pie with its vibrant spices and smooth mashed potato topping. Although the shop is a bit small, it's easy to take your food to go, and the prices are very reasonable. This place is a must-visit if you're in Edinburgh. Absolutely l...

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
