"Came on a group holiday to Colston and ended up having a drink at The Royal Oak. The staff and atmosphere were immediately friendly and welcoming so we booked a table for lunch the next day as well. Both bar staff were attentive and helpful and were happy to have a laugh with the group. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality! The food was also lovely attached is the beef roast : Thank you!"

A beautifully decorated pub with spacious garden area on the back. Very pleasant. Stopped for coffee only. Was served the smallest latte I have ever had. Wished I went for normal coffee as it was served in a standard size cup.

have eaten several times in the royal oak and it always supplies. great quality and choice, and always made to feel very welcome. beautiful wine card and a good selection on gins. can also recommend the cocktail evenings. so happy that this pub as my native!

Lovely pub with a great choice of drinks at very reasonable prices. The food is outstanding with a very good choice on the menu. The staff were friendly and very helpful The beer garden is amazing and they have a large car park Will definitely be back. Also it seems they have live entertainment from time to time and a weekly quiz.

excellent eating, not only a borg standard roast, they can say that they qualitatiw high quality ingredients and care! good service and beautiful garden. great portioning and very good value for money, although it meant that we could not manage desserts after start and netzen as we were too full! a good reason to come back, I guess:

had my girlfriend and parents dressed up for dinner on Saturday night and can honestly say that it was the best I ever had in a pub and possibly even a restaurant! we had beering in the sun, then we moved to dinner in the shaded courtyard. the service was fantastic and my parents plan to take friends there. many thanks for a great night, will definitely be back soon
