Just so nice to see so many vegan options given equal priority on a menu. Yes they do meat but it has to be 50/50. Or it feels like that! Had the Sunday roast. Massive! And delicious. Very friendly staff. Going to go back for sure.

Very generous Sunday roast with all the trimmings including a vegan Yorkshire! Lovely pub, gorgeous setting, beautiful town and friendly attentive staff. We were looking for somewhere with good vegan options for a family meal as two of us are vegan. Three of the five starters were vegan (plus one vegetarian). Five mains were vegan. We enjoyed our choices and the service was excellent. They have accommodation and we noted that they offer a vegan cooked breakfast as well.

fantastic weekend that celebrates my birthday. amazing and immaculate hotel public house. a fine selection of foods and drinks and attentive employees who really care about the quality of their stay. very recommended place to eat, drink or stay. cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and help to make great memories. I really wish them every success as they deserve it absolutely.

We visited for the first time last week since we’re new to the area, and we were really impressed by the variety of vegan options available. It felt like we were spoiled for choice! I ordered the vegan ribs, which were absolutely delicious, while my partner had the plant-based dish that was surprisingly hearty and flavorful, despite being made with lentils and grains. We also sampled a vegan, organic, local beer, which was fantastic. Overall, we were very impressed with both the menu and the service. We will definitely be coming back!

I’ve heard that one of the owners is vegan, and you can definitely tell by the thoughtful vegan options they offer. For instance, the burger is piled high with delicious ingredients. I decided to try the daily special, which was chili with rice. I initially thought chili sounded a bit boring, but when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It was fresh, healthy, and had a nice kick to the sweetness, so it wasn’t overly bland. I also looked forward to dessert and the sticky toffee pudding was excellent. Overall, I left feeling very satisfied with my hearty vegan lunch!
