After a whole day's walking, we arrived very tired for an evening meal. It was perfect! Steak in Ale pie and the medallions of pork in wild mushroom sauce highly recommended. We love it here! Speisekarte ansehen

This is a very welcoming pub, even for muddy, wet mountain bikers, with exceptionally polite staff. The pub serves classic pub food, boasts excellent real ale, and has the added charm of an open fire.

The staff were very friendly. We arrived around 3 PM and enjoyed some drinks and played a few of their board games. Later, we returned for dinner, where we were served a fantastic meal; all the food was perfectly cooked, and the steak was the best we've had. I would definitely recommend this place!

I visited the Royal Oak yesterday and had a fantastic lunch, along with two perfect pints of Shere Drop. I highly recommend the chicken and ham cake; it was outstanding!
