Beautiful building, plenty of seating choices. Sat in bar area at a large table we all had great meals. I enjoyed my Mediterranean baguette, my daughter had killer loaded fries with Korean chicken, my son had fish and chips.....Friendly service. Only criticism is the peas were pretty drive and tasteless.

Good, friendly, efficient service, despite being busy. Extremely reasonable prices and the roast dinners were lovely. Just under £80 for 3 adults and child for mains, desserts, and all drinks. We did book ahead. The bbq area outside looked (and smelt) good too, and seemed to be doing a roaring trade. Would go back again.

This spacious family-friendly pub boasts ample outdoor seating and offers some of the best views in Cleveland, overlooking the outdoor pool and Cleveland Pier. The food is outstanding, freshly prepared with great attention to detail in its presentation, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Plus, if you park in the lot near the entrance, the pub will refund your £3 parking fee—just be sure to bring cash!

Came in today for a meal with two kids and my mum. The wait time for food was rather long, but it was such a nice place we didn't mind too much (and we were in the lunchtime rush 12:30 arrival time). We sat outside, chatted and had a drink while we waited. When the food came it was brilliant very tasty and hot, probably the best scampi and chips I've ever eaten. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. You even get your parking refunded, which the staff helped us with.

The food and service were fantastic! We stopped by after our Boxing Day swim, and despite our visible Muslim identities, everyone was incredibly friendly, making us feel completely at ease. The atmosphere was cheerful, with other diners also in good spirits. The staff were polite and attentive, which might have been due to the Boxing Day spirit or simply because it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my vegan chicken burger and the calamari; both were beautifully prepared, and I would return just for those. The portions were generous as well, and we all left feeling satisfied.

During our visit, which coincided with a heatwave, the staff at The Salthouse were extremely helpful and made sure to double-check the menu items for our son, who has a nut allergy. While we waited for our food and enjoyed our drinks, the kids had a great time playing in the adventure playground, which features a wooden teepee, play train, and car, along with picnic tables. For dinner, we enjoyed delicious burgers served in toasted brioche buns, accompanied by sides of chips and salad. The children ordered from the kids' menu, and everything was delightful. Had a lovely lunch out with my dad at The Salthouse. The garden has a splendid view across the estuary and Clevedon. The dog was welcome in the bar, but we sat outside as it was a nice day. The food arrived quickly, considering they were quite busy. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Dad had ham egg and chips he said the ham was excellent. I had the falafel bites highly recommended the goey bit in the middle made them delicious. Update went for lunch at the Salthouse again this week, one of my new favourite places! Wanted to come here for a great pint and I did! It's a really lovely local pub and restaurant, gorgeous setting by the sea/Clevedon Marine Lake front with stunning views. Lots of outdoors seating, lovely decorated inside, spacious, clean, great proper cask ale, the food menu looks good and competitively priced and, the locally made cakes are delicious...my chocolate Muffin was to die for! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and delightful, big smiles and Sophie was lovely.
