"As we were a group of 9 we were asked to pre-order, no problem. So no idea why we were kept waiting so long to be served the place was virtually empty. The potatoes in my raclette were fried (they should be boiled) and...burned and the cheese was meagre. How the chef managed to cook dauphinoise potatoes with absolutely no flavour is beyone me. And the creme brulee was pedestrian. Others in my party spoke better of their fishcakes and chicken. Perhaps i was just unlucky with my choices. The wine list is limited and totally lacking in detail (doesn't even given the abv of the wines) And the only word I can come up with to describe the service is surly. Spent all evening wishing we'd gone to the Ivy down the road"

Quality gnocchi. Very good service. The man was very sorry that inside was full and as soon as a table become available he asked me if i’d like it. Also, beautiful location!

never been here before, but thought it looked nice, so we booked and had a fantastic pre-theater menu here, great staff, great eating and excellent atmosphere, we booked to return the next month.

Both the fishcake and linguine courses were nice. Perched at a table out on the flagstones outside behind a church on a narrow throughfare between Kings and the Market Square. Clearly a popular spot.

great eating, and eating was as delicious as alway, nice service and the staff very friendly and helpful we went there a second time I love the cocktail espresso martini, we recommend this to every xxxxx

Called in on spec and enjoyed a lovely lunch of spatchcock chicken and salad. Really nicely cooked and piping hot. Nicely decorated bistro, service friendly and efficient. Prices of drinks quite expensive but this is the centre of Cambridge. Would definitely visit again.

I tend in the regular a bit skeptical about places that are in such good location (smack in the middle), as they tend to get a lot of drop-in customers including tourist and not necessarily have to excel as most customers do not have to go back anyway. but not here! this is a beautiful little bistro.

I had lunch with my partner and my daughter on 22/6/22 and that was really terrible. the starters were all very rocky and bland. for a main daughter and I had pasta with garnel and it was dry (no soße) and with. a strange flavor mix. my partner had fish and chips and the chips were large slices of kartoffeln instead of chips and it was all very reconsidered and inconspicuous. very disappointing and expensive.

this place is an absolute gem of a fund. as a couple who wished a relaxed meal in the sunshine, this place scored top brands. the location is central and close to sights, the river and other pubs that is really helpful. david greeted us and demonstrated... what a big front of the house individual he is. the food was great and offered a nice selection for a sunny evening. a really nice place with great staff and eating.
