A wonderful character pub full of fascinating maritime memorabilia. Dog friendly area inside. Had the haggis, neepes and tatties which was very tasty. Would recommend the Ship Inn.

it was our first time in the ship's inn and we were not disappointed. the staff was very friendly and the service was top-class. we took our dog because they were very dog friendly, it was great. they would especially recommend if they had a dog.

OMG ! The Cullen skink was amazing, best I've ever had. My husband had the Rabbie Burger and I had the Chicken and Haggis pie they were also delicious, we were stuffed as the portions were very generous. The waiting staff were very good and the atmosphere was traditional olde worlde cosy pub, ideal on a wet and windy night.

I wish there were more dog-friendly places like this! We have three dogs of different sizes, and when we requested a bowl of water for them, the staff was more than happy to provide it. The food is absolutely amazing, and the staff is very friendly. If you're in Irvine, I highly recommend this pub, even if you don't have a dog.
