This is a lovely, cozy pub with friendly bar staff and affordable beer. I'm definitely planning to come here more often!

We knew where we wanted my Birthday lunch today and were not disappointed. 2 adults and 2 children and we all enjoyed our perfectly cooked and silky soft steaks and chips. The husband and wife team were very helpful and welcoming. Good luck and we look forward to returning next year!

We did not feel welcomed during our visit. The staff should greet tourist customers in a more polite and friendly way, rather than directing them to go left and not right, as that area is meant for locals only. While we plan to return to the area, we certainly won’t be coming back to this pub.

Das Essen war mäßig: unkreativer geschmacksneutraler Vegi Burger, die Canneloni vermutlich aus dem Tiefgekühler (ich hoffe dem Koch nicht unrecht zu tun), kein Mineralwasser im Angebot, sondern nur klebrige Süssgetränke oder natürlich Alkohol. Der Tisch war klebrig. Personal jedoch wie immer in Wales höflich

Spent a beautiful week in solva we had many a great night in the ship inn the landlord and landlady were fantastic company they took the time to chat with us . Jeff the barman was amazing nothing was too much trouble for him called us cabs poorer our drinks to perfection. The locals who drank in here were very friendly and chatty aswell. All in all great pub and fantastic company great place to make friends. Cheers guys! Chelts

The restaurant had very few COVID-19 precautions in place. The tables were packed closely together, with my husband sitting less than 30cm away from a woman at the table behind us. There was a token one-way system implemented, but the staff didn’t adhere to it, and navigating it often meant walking uncomfortably close to the tables on the return route, which seemed counterproductive compared to just taking a shortcut back to our seats. I ordered a pizza that tasted like a reheated frozen one, served on a drinks tray, partially covered with greaseproof paper—it was quite disappointing. It's such a shame because the location is fantastic.
