"One of our two local pubs in Woodchurch. Food, Beer and Wine, they have a Great Selection. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere is really great, a real old fashioned English Pub which has a lot going on throughout the year. Beer Festivals, Live Bands, Morris Dancers, Quizes, Hog Roasts and of course their superb Sunday Roast. Very reasonable prices as well. Congratulations to Katy and all the staff who make this a Great Place to visit. Kid-friendliness: Kids and Dogs are all welcome here. A beautiful old pub with a lovely warm welcome. To see a pub open at 12 on a Tuesday and have a regular crowd attend is a joy to see. Even though we weren't locals, the staff were extremely welcoming, and the food served was delicious. The pub itself had loads of original features and a gorgeous open fireplace that was warming on a winters afternoon. Will definitely pop in again if passing. Price per person: £10–20
