The Skiff Inn - Speisekarte

Food and service were excellent especially the sticky toffee pudding with custard. The best I have ever had and I’ve had a few!!!!

Lovely food, great service, nice friendly staff, good location just five minute drive from the metro center, will definitely visit again !

Was working away for 3 nights and spent every night in here. Food is probably the best Iv ever had. Different meal every night. Fajitas are the best around. Staff amazing. Just need to work out a excuse to travel up from Manchester to visit again

Second visit here to this busy restaurant and bar. Good range of drinks and lovely food. Portions are very big and reasonably priced Staff helpful and polite Plenty of seats but suggest booking a table as it is very popular Close to metro centre and Newcastle Ample parking

Visited by chance. Was originally at the TGI Friday restaurant opposite but the prices were really expensive and the menu choice was poor. Had a look on tripadvisor and found this pub/restaurant nearby and wow I'm so glad I did. Although busy service were was great. The menu choice was great and the food we had was lovely. Unbelievable value. I was actually booked in at a major chain restaurant nearby however would have required to remortgage my house for the privilege. So off I wandered. My journey lead me next door to Skiffs Inn and it was absolutely from start to finish. Delicious food, great portion sizes. Very friendly staff. Absolutely delighted with that. Thanks The Skiff Inn

we called here after some stressful Christmas shopping and this establishment was an oasis of calm ,friendliness and relaxation . Staff were friendly and chatty and were just what we needed .Drinks arrived swiftly . Soon after the meals arrived an excellent mixed grill ,perfectly cooked and good value. My companion ordered a lasagne which was also good . We both chose desserts chocolate brownie with ice cream and these did not dissapoint, sweet chocolatey ,soft and warm. There was also plenty of parking.

For the first time ever at christmas we ordered the takeaway christmas day lunch for 5 people as I was working till 1.30 christmas day and thought it would be lovely to have my lunch cooked for me christmas day. I must say the lunch was absolutely amazing, we had 3 courses each course so well thought out with all the garnishes, prawn and crayfish with iceberg lettuce garnished with paprika and homemade marie sauce, it was delicious, we then had roast turkey will all the trimming and I mean all the trimmings, followed by homemade christmas pudding and brandy sauce garnished with fresh cranberries and mint, to die for, we even got a small bottle of prosecco each and a xmas cracker, the food wa...
