"we were not impressed by what my mother and I had ordered, I had ordered a ripe cheeseburger with a side of salatrelish and chips, while my mother had a steakburger with the side salad. what we got was a huge plate. with a burger placed in the middle and the most pitiful expression of an salat consisting of two small salat leaves, a cherry tomatin in half and three thinly cut strands of tweebel. the burger and the salat deficiency looked completely lost in the middle of the plate. also the mature cheese on mine was in the round a cheese slice that probably came from the local pound shop. the relish was served in one of these disposable paper cups, which they usually find in mcdonalds and was only half filled, not to mention that the cool wind canal in which we were sitting (there was a terrible rush from the back of the bar near we were ate) and finally I had noticed that the liquid must have been diluted in the toilets with water obviously to make it last. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the liquid soap turned out to be cheap washing liquid. total came two burgers with an order of of chips, a non-existent salate and two kokse to just over £31! I would have taken a photo of it, but we were so hungry and wanted to go so fast. I know that the things are really hard and the people need to wear belts, but also on the bases and the charge for the privileg."

The food was good but the price was way out to expensive. what you order you still have to order all sides that what makes to expensive. For a family I would not recommend.

Hard-working, pleasant young staff but they did not appear to be Covid compliant, eg, were wearing visors but no masks and they did not seem to have a routine of taking contact details. Food average but better food can be had elsewhere for the same...price. Tables seemed to be closer together than in other restaurants I've been to. Did not feel comfortable.

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) visited this restaurant over the weekend. The children enjoyed their food, and while what we had was good, it was just average. Our experience was dampened by the hefty bill of £120. The prices were a bit too high for the quality of the food. If the prices were more reasonable, around £60 or £70, it would have been a better value. We were not impressed and do not plan on returning. Speisekarte ansehen

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I have always enjoyed dining here, but after my last experience, I have no desire to return. The food was mediocre and the service was lacking. We were even asked by the waiter if we were finished while we were still eating, which was very surprising. If they have had a bad night, that is understandable, but they should not let that show to their customers. I doubt we will be returning in the future.

The dining experience here was quite average and overpriced. We paid £8 for a burger and an additional £4 for a small portion of chips that were not even hand-cut. The scampi seemed to be frozen and not fresh, accompanied by a shrimp salad made from the smallest shrimp available at the supermarket. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but we felt rushed to finish our meal. The server seemed unaware of what was included with our drinks. Overall, our first night in Portrush was unimpressive and we do not plan on returning to Spinnaker.

My partner and I were staying in Portrush August bank holiday weekend. We had nowhere booked to eat and took a walk into the town. Saw this place and decided to try it. A member of staff checked if we could get served and it...wasn’t a problem. Ordered haddock and chips with tartare sauce and mushy peas. Food was really lovely fish lightly battered and chips were very good. We also asked for a dessert menu and we both had caramelised apple pie with ice cream and fresh cream. Also delicious. All in all we enjoyed our meal. Staff were very good and we hope to go back September 2021. Speisekarte ansehen

My husband and I visited The Spinnaker yesterday with friends having not booked. We were welcomed and shown to a lovely table by the window. Drinks order placed and arrived quickly. Our food order was taken (not an easy decision, all sounded delicious) Two if...us had the Mediterranean Chicken which was delicious, one had prawn salad again delicious and one had chicken and bacon burger another delicious meal. All food came out quickly, piping hot (apart from salad lol) and portions were very generous. We enjoyed it so much we plan to return today. Would not hesitate in recommending this hidden gem of a place.

I went to the restaurant today cancelled my order 5 minutes after it was made and told them I was leaving.. they refused to cancel as my food was ready?? HOW because it’s frozen food heated up) As I stood waiting for...the manager who wouldn’t come out they proceeded to bring out my food and leave it on the table! I told them I wasn’t paying for it as I cancelled it BEFORE they brought it out and was still left waiting on the manager.. who then told me there’s nothing I could do about it basically tough it was out and she’d give me a take away box but I had to pay. Working in this industry I have to say this was an absolute disgrace! The drinks tasted like blue mould and the food looked like...

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
