Great meal out with family after the rugby. We were invited to pre order our meals and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Service was excellent and our Sunday roasts were great. Highly recommended Speisekarte ansehen

This pub is absolutely charming! The service is friendly and the food is delicious, especially the affogato honeycomb. They have a great selection of IPAs and even wax-covered candelabras for added ambiance.

Went for Sunday roast.. food was really tasty and all fresh, home made. The mint sauce was best ever! Reasonably priced.. a long wait for the food but when handed clearly home cooked food we didn't mind so much.

I was really disappointed after reading the previous reviews. The Sunday lunch was quite average and did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning. The prices were quite high for what we got, and we were even charged an extra 75p for a Yorkshire pudding. Speisekarte ansehen

General attitude and service dreadful Food good but we had to constantly ask for menus, then drinks, then wait a Rusupo is amount of time for starters, then again ask to be served for mains and wait an inordinate amount of time to receive the food despite not hugely busy When we questioned the service charge we receive atttiude and ultimately the server slamming the pay machine down aggressively Frankly they need to look at their service and attitude

Went for Sunday roast. Would recommend making a reservation as it gets busy. Our table had 2 reservations after ours. The staff were friendly and efficient and made for a good experience. We had the roast sirloin and the roast pork. The sirloin comes with yorkshire pudding but it's extra for the pork. For dessert we had the apple and rhubarb crumble I asked for ice cream but got it with cream no worried. Also had the strawberries and cream. The is a garden at the back but it was raining so I don't know what that would be like. A+ for the staff, B+ for the food (sides costing extra).

This restaurant has really declined in quality. I ordered a Cheese and Ham Sandwich from a friendly staff member, but received a tomato and onion sandwich instead. I explained to the bartender that I couldn't eat tomato or onion, and the chef shouted at him for the mistake. The replacement sandwich also had tomato in it, despite my dietary restrictions. The food overall was not good, and my friend had a similar experience with their sandwich. The staff behind the bar were friendly and offered a refund, but I won't be returning as long as that chef is there. The atmosphere was disappointing and the food was subpar. It's a shame, as it used to be a nice place to dine. Speisekarte ansehen
