Lovely ambience and great food. Really enjoyed our visit to this pub. I have high standards, and this place exceeded them! Would visit again.

Lovely little pub. Small car park to rear. Lovely welcome to the pub. Friendly staff. Good selection of food on offer. Good quality, well prepared. The premise concentrates on quality over quantity, with prices to match. Well worthy of a visit.

It was very busy 12 o'clock sitting. Staff were very attentive from the onset nothing too much trouble. Smashing ambiance we were made to feel very welcome by all. The food was absolutely gorgeous, couldn't fault it, good set menu And so well presented. Would happily recommend you try it.

Recently re-opened after a prolonged period of closure and having undergone refurbishment this pub/restaurant is worth a try. The staff are extremely welcoming and the bar has a pleasant ambience. The current menu is a little restricted but a revised version with more popular pub favourites is promised soon. The food was good and well presented but lack of customers must be a challenge. Sunday carveries are proving to be very popular and good value. The pub needs more supporters to ensure it continues as a business so we shall return. Speisekarte ansehen

The Staff of Life in south Leicestershire is a well-established favorite. Since moving to London from a nearby village 5 years ago, I have yet to find a better place than the Staff. Linda, the owner, is a warm and welcoming host who goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel at home. The bar offers a great selection of well-maintained ales and a fantastic wine list, creating a vibrant atmosphere. I highly recommend the Staff to anyone in the area, passing through, or in search of a delicious country pub meal. Thank you again to Linda and the rest of the team! X

We had not been to the 'Staff ' for years and decided to book Sunday lunch with them. The young staff were pleasant and gave really good table service. Before the delicious main course warmed fresh bread with a dip was brought to us. The food was excellent including the dessert for which we did, unlike other places visited, have to wait long. All round we just could not fault anything with the food but one qualm was the customer car park at the rear of the building as after the rain its gravel surface was partly waterlogged with puddles and we drove out again and parked on the roadway near by. Anyway really recommend and it made our Sunday that also included a stroll around the village after...

Venue is lovely and feels extremely welcoming when you enter. The waiting team were fab, extremely attentive and friendly. However what let the trip down was the food. We paid £6 for prawn cocktails. Put it this way, somoene in the part ate the two pieces of bread and the sauce and left the lettuce, we joked that she was leaving £4.50 worth of lettuce. Honestly, they shouldnt have come out of the kitchen, there were literally 5 shrimps (not prawns) and about a table spoon of dressing, if that. The carvery....... The meat was fab, could not fault the meat in the slightest. Frozen yorkshire puddings, Carrots so overcooked they were black and like mush. Parsnips again, black. Green beans that s...
