"Amazing venue. Intimate, food is divine. Wine selection is fab together with the cocktail menu. Service is extremely personable with knowledgeable waiters and waitresses. The lady of the house is very welcoming and extremely friendly . The fact the chefs are visable at the restaurant makes it very attentive. My only negative comment is that the menu for children is limited. My children enjoy good food. The food on offer is that of fish goujon and chicken which is made on site, however not extensive and does not offer any vegetables as an healthy extra. Will 100% return and think that the offer on the card machine for an added gratuity (as in traditional restaurants) would be beneficial as it's quite awkward offering cash as an extra. The staff deserve it. Thank you."

"We are frequent visitors to the Aberglais. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal, or a bad experience here. All the staff make effort to ensure you are happy and you have all you need. The food is so good and really reasonably priced. I recently booked the restaurant for 28+ people for my partners 30th birthday in April and everything was so easy, from booking, giving the pre order and everything on the night went smoothly. I even took some decorations to the venue the night before the meal and the staff kept them safe for me. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to help. Would always recommend the Aberglais for a welcoming atmosphere, smiley staff and excellent food."

"Set not far from Morlais castle and the quarry (good to have a walk there near the golf course and then come to the Aberglais after) it's in a good location with great views all around. Good home cooked style food and a cosy but small beer garden. The place does get busy during peak times with the carpark getting full, so better to pop in mid week. Various bottled ciders, cold pull beers and ales on tap. They always seem to have at least one felinfoel ale on tap (last time it was double dragon). Bar area is a bit too modern for my tastes (it would have been nice to have it a bit more traditional/rustic). Can't go wrong (good to have a walk down the road as well with good walks near a former train station and old hotel which closed long ago). Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"after visiting a factory party we couldn't get this place out of our heads. we returned with the family for mothers day and again, eating and service was second to none. I order quite simple dishes, but also those. Curry spins were rich in color and texture, perfectly cooked and tasty. The scale was perfect and consistent. as a diabetic and with diabetic considerations, the consistency and quality of the ingredients was extremely helpful. also quite likely the cleanest restaurant where I have ever eaten. finally the service that was upbeat, fast and a pleasure. they are quickly spiritual and funny, leaving a very relaxed atmosphere. as extra one of us left a bag there, and they were fast to lock them away until we collected a day later, defining a place where we can trust!"

"We went for lunch on 24th of December around 12pm, the place was empty so I asked to the lady (owner? if they were serving food, which she promptly said to look at the menu that she would ask the cooker. We sat down and looked over the menu. After 5 minutes she came to us but we hadn't decided what to have so she left. It took her another 20 minutes to come back and she was visibly distressed and told us that they were very busy that afternoon and we would have to wait a long time for the food to be ready. My girlfriend asked if she wanted us to leave but she said no. We started asking for food (breakfast rolls and she looked very annoyed at this point but took our order anyway. My girlfriend asked if we would have to wait long for the food since we were only having some rolls and the lady said yes, because they were very busy getting ready for dinner. So we decided to leave. My point is she should've told us since the beginning that they were unable to serve food at that time because they were busy preparing for the afternoon."
