Visited this place with family 20.3.22 needless to say won’t be going back. The Sunday meal wasn’t worth the extortionate prices they charge ….

Service was a little slow but when the food arrived it was excellent. Everyone commented on the quality and quantity of the food. All the waiters/waitresses were attentive and friendly. Good value for money.

service was efficient and friendly. the place was clean and tidy. the food was hot and tasty and I really couldn't mistake the place. excellent round, like the other side in retford. would recommend visiting either side.

The food, service and atmosphere at the Sun Inn was amazing. Our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed their meals, we also had some of the cocktails which were also lovely. Given the exceptional quality of the food I felt it was good value for money....Highly recommend, a firm 10/10!!

we visited again with friends of harrogate on Friday hope that they would enjoy and indeed they really enjoyed again excellent service and very good eating. we had lamb steak, lachs and pie all excellent, we even had a little sausage. for our little dog bella to take home for her must say the service is excellent by a very courteous and friendly team keep her the great work team sun inn

Visited recently for a celebration lunch (six adults). It was mid week but the pub was pleasantly busy and a lovely atmosphere. So pleased our local pub has found its feet again and is serving good quality food in lovely surroundings, Service was excellent, well...paced and unobtrusive which allowed us to enjoy spending time with friends we have t seen for a long time without feeling rushed. Looking forward to visiting a bit more regularly again now!

ideally located on the Bawtry-Gainsborough road with a large parking space. first impressions are good with a beautiful outdoor area beer garden and pleasant entrance. a welcome reception at the writing, or perhaps the bar in a cozy lounge. the sunday roast was as good as we were everywhere. the meat was fresh and delicate, the vegetables and yorkshire pudding were perfectly cooked. most pleasant with a very decent pint of timmy taylors. all served friendly and attentive staff. we have visited the sun inn a few times and will be sure to return.

Poor value. Very limited menu only about 6 things on it. Burgers were tasteless as were the chips. No salad, only burger, chips and small tub of coleslaw. £15.95 for a burger of that quality is poor value. No pasta on the children's menu, and...only 4 things to choose from, our 3 year old had a burger which was exactly the same as ours for half the price, only difference was our chips were in basket! They didn't eat it as it had gherkins etc on it Not ideal for small children. Went there as we were told it had a play area for the children, but even that was very limited!
