The Fountain - Speisekarte

I have visited The Fountain a couple of times since moving to the area. The pizza is fresh and homemade, and I highly recommend trying it along with the Philly cheese fries.

I have come away for a couple of days with my husband on a caravan site, the pub near is the fountain. Amazing food lovley friendly atmosphere l would highly recommend a visit .

For £36 a night im not sure what some people expect. It was warm and very clean,comfortable bed. Staff friendly! It’s an old building so don’t expect perfect decor. We will book again! Thankyou Speisekarte ansehen

The dining experience was awful - the food was terrible, the staff were rude, and we wasted £40 on dishes that tasted like horse manure. It was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this restaurant.

The pizza at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. While I've tried other items on the menu and they were just okay, I would still recommend coming here for the pizza. The restaurant is small, clean, and the manager is friendly. It's not my first choice for drinks in Tuxford, but it's a great spot in the summer to enjoy a pint or two in the nice beer garden.

We stayed one night at very short notice a very friendly member of staff looked after us no food on that night but offered alternatives ,large room was clean and tidy with clean bedding and towels toilet was awful noisy macerator so don’t flush at night ,good hot shower you got what you paid for the travel lodges aren’t worth the money but this is good value slept well comfy bed tea making and good tv bath and shower good value Speisekarte ansehen

Look’s nothing like the pictures. Strong bad smell as soon as you walk through the door. Badly needs a painting update. Got worse as we opened our room door we were greeted to a strong smell of bad drains and chewing gum in the carpet, tea/coffee spills on the top. Mentioned it to the lady, was instantly ignored. Left, booked somewhere else. Reported it to booking.com no refund or inspection was applied! Wondering how has it got the reviews???

This was fantastic experience of very well organised staff at the Fountain Pub and because of short notice and the pub changes, there was 18 of us for a 80th birthday celebration and I can’t say anyone was disappointed with the food from the beef to pork and the chicken which melted in your mouth. The staff were very accommodating if there was a issue, throughly enjoyed the desserts too. I would certainly recommend to any of my friends and family to give this place a try .

The hotel is on the outskirts of Tuxford next to the main railway line so expect some noise. The hotel is a local pub restaurant with live bands but during my stay there was no late night noise The room was fine apart from that the electric socket is dangerous the staff acknowledged it has been reported before. The room had signs of damp and the double glazing has misted over. The room servicing was hit and miss my door was left unlocked by staff Overall it needs improvement Speisekarte ansehen
