"We received a warm welcome when we arrived at the restaurant, but were disappointed to hear that several items on the menu were not available, including pizzas, jäger huhn, shrimp, and scallops. Despite the limited options, we found other items to order. However, our waiter returned to inform us that calamari was also unavailable, forcing us to change our orders once again. The fish cakes we ended up with were dry and lacked flavor, overshadowed by excessive seasoning. When it came time for dessert, two of us selected dishes, only to be told that they were also unavailable. We felt bad for the staff, but were frustrated by the lack of options and the inconvenience it caused. This experience was not ideal, especially since we had brought our friends here to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, we may not be returning to this restaurant in the future."

my two guests were new in their restaurant. they were very impressed. we had a pleasant lunch. Eat and service were of a very high standard.

Have been to Swallows Return on many occasions but have to say this was the worst experience I have had. Poor service, waiting over an hour to have food served. Very poor excuses give by staff as to reasons. Dispute carried over when bill paid. Wont be going again anytime soon. Speisekarte ansehen

I chose to book at the Swallows and my partner was reluctant. His steak was tough and he asked for medium with just a little pink and it was basically raw. free deserts didn't really make up for a wasted main course and deserts were needed because we were still hungry. won't go again, how can a good chef get such a basic wrong.

I decided to try the oysters, but my partner was hesitant. The steak he ordered was overcooked and he had requested it to be medium with a slight pink center, but it arrived completely raw. The complimentary desserts did not make up for the disappointing main course, and we left the restaurant still hungry. We will not be returning, as it was disappointing to see such a basic cooking mistake from a supposed good chef.
