The Sweet Pea Cafe - Speisekarte

First visit to this lovely cafe. Food cooked to order. First class presentation and quality. Lovely staff too. free drink with breakfast. definitely visit again.

Good coffee and very nice simple eats. The warmth of the place was not what it was a couple of years ago but dont know why. Didnt seem so cosy happy firendly. Was certainly one of the best places in West Kirby tho adn would visit regularly.

Popped into the Sweet Pea cafe for lunch. It was great to see that they were able to deliver a fantastic service, whilst following the COVID restrictions. The staff were delightful, the food was fantastic. I will most certainly be returning. Speisekarte ansehen

Was delighted to have spent an afternoon here yesterday. The owner Susana, was so friendly and welcoming. She happily reserved me an outside table and kept back a piece of cake for me! The cake was gorgeous, drinks were great, and the place is beautifully decorated. My new regular cafe for sure!

Rude sullen staff: 'is that ALL you are ordering?? ' Bizarre menu: ordered advertised soup and a cheese sandwich, 'we don 't do cheese sandwich. You must order cheese on toast '. Four staff, one one other customer besides my husband and I, we waited over 15 minutes. We walked out, and will never go back there, just 100% terrible!!

I visited in April 2022. Greeted with a warm welcome, the ambiance was relaxed and friendly.Thankfully, no loud music or unnerving background clatter! The tea was strong and hot, nice big teapot, not a hint of chlorinated water! Chicken wraps were freshly prepared and very tasty. Cakes were great too. Order: The bacon, chicken and avocado salad, warm goat cheese salad and two flat whites. The avocado was as a mush and dark and the salad was tired. We were told that the reason that the avocado was like this is because of added lemon juice; things that raise suspicion by telling a lie. The coffee that is used to make the flat white could have been of better quality. The cook was rather defensive but there was no problem in us leaving and payment was readily waved. A great shame as we used to love this place.

Me and my 3 friends visited at the weekend, we were able to reserve a table which was super appreciated. The hostess was so so friendly and welcoming. We all had lunch and the food was delicious and good value. We also had smoothies and loved the fact we could basically have whatever combo we wanted. The service was perfect as they were attentive, but not too much so. We also got some cakes to take away with us which were out of this world, especially the bakewell! A true hidden gem in West Kirby that I will DEFINITELY return to!

Visited on saturday and had a choice of Sweet Pea Cafe, Hannahs and Green Onions and really wish we had chosen one of the other two now. Firstly the order kept being checked as they took it down wrong 3 times. We were ordering a sandwich which according to the menu came with a small side of chips and a salad however we then noticed that for an extra £1.50 you could have a bowl of soup with this so decided that was a good option instead of a drink. When it arrived there were no chips or salad and the bowl of soup was half the size of a standard bowl of soup.
