The Terrace Cafe - Speisekarte

Ordered the full english and a latte, food was plentiful and lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Only thing is its cash only so make sure you have it but just another lovely quirk for a small local business.

Went in this cafe for lunch as we was on holiday excellent food lovely polite lady nice and clean cafe we ordered the scampi and chips and ham chips and egg and a chicken burger and chip. We used this cafe years ago and...the food was as nice then

Our lunchtime snacks were OK, though in our group of of us had our food after minutes, and the other had to wait a further minutes. Walked up from the beach after a morning crabbing and decided on a bite here.....what a little gem, full lunches and drinks for and it was absolutely delicious. Best fries in Dawlish and possibly the best Americano I’ve had all week. Not...many places round here that I will return to but this is definitely one that gets the nod. Excellent.

The restaurant is run by a lovely couple and is located in a wonderful spot in Dawlish. The menu is lovely with breakfast options available in the afternoon. There is seating both inside and outside. The panini I had was delicious with great ingredients. The service was top-notch with a smile. I am thankful for the consistent quality and will definitely be returning.

We arrived in Dawlish earlier than our room was ready, so we decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. We were not disappointed. We ordered scampi and chips and fish and chips, and our food arrived quickly. The next morning, we returned for the veggie breakfast, which caught our eye because of the halloumi. Went here as it was early and looking for somewhere open for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. We went in and was warmly greeted so we sat down and then went to the counter and ordered the food and drinks. After a small wait out coffees...arrived... followed by the breakfasts. A very decently cooked full English arrived very tasty. Bacon sandwich was full of hot crispy bacon. Good value for money for a simply cooked full English to fill you up so you can get on with your day.

We regularly used the Terrace under the old owner , but in the last year we have tried to visit numerous times but it has been closed . The sign on the door doesn't even have opening times. We finally found it open and ordered...breakfast. Have to say it was excellent. You could have a five item breakfast plus a drink for You could also have a bigger breakfast if you wanted . It was so tasty and such good value that we visited again later in the week. If it's open and you fancy breakfast then give it a go , I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We decided to try this restaurant after our first choice did not have decaffeinated hot drinks, which are necessary for my wife's health. Although the menu didn't particularly stand out to us, the food turned out to be delicious. I have had quite a few full English breakfasts in my lifetime, and I have to say that this one ranks among the best. The portion was generous, with an extra sausage that wasn't necessary. The service was friendly and efficient, and the ingredients used were of high quality, including proper bacon instead of cheap supermarket alternatives. The sausage was tasty and everything was cooked perfectly. The presentation of the dish was pleasing, without any visible grease.... Speisekarte ansehen
