Delicious meal and great service. Spectacular seafood hot platter between the 2 of us. Also an amazing negroni...got to try it!

Wow, wow WOW! The food was delicious every mouthful. The decor and ambiance was perfect as was the service. So pleased we decided to come worth the journey!

I made a booking which I sadly had to cancel. The made the cancellation 4 weeks before we were due to visit but £20 has been taken out of my account. I have emailed and called serval times to get a refund but no response!!! Speisekarte ansehen

I was here to look at the menu for my group. I had the hack and it was delicious. Small restaurant near the sea. I am going to have singapore chilli crab when I return in February 2024 with some friends. Quiet nice atmosphere.

A little bit pricey but with that you get excellent fresh food and great service. We pushed the boat out with the hot platter as well as mackerel and a scallop starters. George was helpful in trying to get us a special liquor from their sister restaurant as well.

Had booked this for a special birthday based on good reviews!!Four good friends looking for the ultimate seafood platter to share! Huge lobster, enormous crab, mussels clams , oysters prawns and crevettes! ! Super fresh and served by lovely friendly and informed staff and washed down with icy Picpoul and accompanied by the best chunky chips and lovely bread! Can’t prise it enough! Can’t wait to return! My wife and I called in for lunch on spec on our first visit to Teignmouth. What a find! We both had hake, which was delicious in a creamy white wine sauce. The manager and waiter were friendly without being pushy, and the service was faultless. The restaurant itself is a good size, quite small but not cramped. It has a pleasant, bright feel to it, with the River Teign in the background. We'll definitely go again. I'm guessing it would be a good idea to book next time. There were a few reserved tables when we turned up.

I went there with a friend as a special treat and we both thought it was very expensive for a lunch that we felt was good but not outstanding. I had the stone bass from the Catch of the Day board and my friend had mussels. What we weren’t expecting is that the vegetables and chips were sides which had to be paid for as extras. I have to say the sides were very good and generous portion sizes; we ordered one of broccoli and one of chips between us, as suggested by the waiter. Along with the 12.5% service charge, it came to over £150 for a starter and a main each, two sides, one large glass of wine, a ginger beer and two coffees. Disappointing if I’m honest. We booked as a family because we really fancied some fresh seafood. When we called we specified that there were six adults, five children and a baby in a high chair. At no point during that call did anyone say that there is no children’s menu available which made for an even more expensive trip. The food was very expensive, we ended up getting the children to share three fish and chips between them and the fish inside the batter was lovely but the chips were drenched in oil. Three of us shared one of the platters and whilst it was lovely and very well presented, we all walked away hungry as there isn’t really much fish on there for you to eat. The waitress was lo...
