"So, I've been sitting on the fence for some time about posting a review after my first visit to The Three Horse Shoes last month. But after reading some similar reviews and hearing a couple of familiar nature to my experiance, I feel inclined to...share. A friend and I decided to stop off at the pub on a quiet Monday evening for an impromptu pint and a burger. Bearing in mind, I also work in a pub and some venues including mine still had covid restrictions at the time, operating bookings only etc etc. So after being greeted by the seemingly polite bar lady, I asked if we could sit anywhere as I was making sure they didn't have bookings etc. She scowled at me for a few seconds as if I've never been into a pub before and snarkly responded, Ummm, it's a pub, sooo yeah So first impressions took a tumble, but we moved on and enjoyed a pint from the Crafty brewing company which was delicious and happy to see them supporting a local tipple. I then approached the bar to order a second beer and a burger, however the bar lady was mid conversation with a customer on the phone, so I quietly waited. She was speaking to someone who was vegan and was trying to explain that the pub had limited options but would cater to them as best as possible. During this conversation, she seemed irate and was making very visable gestures to everyone in the bar that this customer was wasting her time. She hung up after the tiresome conversation was over, sighed, looked at me and exclaimed, I f ing hate vegans, you're probably one Fortunately for her, I'm not and massaged her ego by ordering a non vegan item. The final nail in the coffin was how she spoke to younger guys/girls, towards the end of the evening. She used a degroitaory word for travellers to describe the group as they were paying up and leaving. Again, no filter for everyone in the bar to hear. One, a word that shouldn't be said vocally anyway and secondly, she has no idea who could've been coming into or sat in the pub already. This woman clearly has no concept or awareness on how to speak to people within a social situation, which is particularly important when being the main figure of a hospitality venue. You may have your opinions, way of speaking, in-jokes with locals or values, but in practice, keep them to yourself. To be honest I've spoken to a number of people about my experiance as couldn't quite beleive how this woman spoke and greeted everyone that came in. Since sitting right next to the bar, you could hear all and to be honest it didn't bother me. But for many, it would. I have no intentions to retun to the pub soon, which is a shame as the beer and food was delicious and reasonably priced. I don't wish to support a venue that was quite happy to berate customers infront of others. I hope management have a particular look at their own individual customer service style, as any new business will be scared away."

Daniel’s Sunday roast as good as always. The roast beef fantastic. The Yorkshire puddings excellent.

This cosy country pub in the quiet village of Thursley in Surrey is definitely worth a visit. Plenty of seating indoors and out. My cheeseburger was a masterpiece and the chips wonderfully crunchy. Both chimed perfectly with The Crafty Brewing Co.’s delicious Light Chestnut Ale...(Lion Brewey Bitter). Cheerful welcome from the staff.

My year old father went into this pub on a busy Sunday to enquire about lunch and was treated very disrespectfully by the barmaid, who told him very rudely they were too full. He left very disappointed but fortunately we found another incredibly friendly...and welcoming pub nearby-the horseshoes in Elstead. This pub does not deserve your custom. We did not try the food.

my friend and I went to a lunch on Tuesday in the beginning of januar I chose the chickenburger and he the pizza. as good as the spotted Cow...in bourne – and that says something. my chicken pieces in the hühnerburger were pretty much baked and a little overcooked. yet we both had a pleasant meal added. this is a charming country pub with beautiful staff and a great atmosphere. I will try again, but not the chickenburger!

live on Saturday midday lot on a sunny day very predictable footfall, but they were underoccupied and disorganized. But eating and drinking were nice, but always ordered and sitting was just too hard. there are three different ordering processes in the game: sitting with table service;...ordering at the bar with table numbers; and some random arrangement from the front and the personal have no warning. also the owner rolled in and simply took the best table outside throwing the personal plans in trouble. only kneipe for miles around with guaranteed business, but I don't like how to use it.

Myself and friends arrived on our horses today, Boxing Day, (partly because one of our party needed the loo wow this pub could not have been more hospitable! We asked if we could have some drinks whilst we were here, the Landlady bought all...our drinks out to us, we then asked if there might be any chance of a snack, some chips or something easy, she explained that the kitchen was about to close but she could do a some steak sandwiches, in actual fact she went one better and did us the most amazing selection of steak sandwiches and chicken Katsu burgers (plus a vegan burger for one of our party), she was so lovely and welcoming it absolutely made our Boxing Day ride. All of us can’t wait to...

Staying locally and this place appealed. Ordered a Wagyu burger expecting something epic, but got a sad small overcooked burger with a bit of iceberg lettuce and burger sauce and standard chips. Now if you’re going to charge London gourmet burger prices, you expect fresh...ground beef cooked slightly pink in the middle lovely and tender with all the trimmings and maybe triple cooked hand cut fries -this was not. On sending it back to the kitchen I was told that they have to cook to a certain temperature so that’s how it comes! Now if this was freshly made Wagyu burger then you can cook it like steak, so medium or medium well done etc. But if it’s frozen pre-brought in then maybe it’s McDonal...

has it now come to the point that before they visit any pub, do they have to cheat their website for their opening times/when or when they serve eating etc? there was a time when everyone would be open on a Sunday. the three horse hoes were open yesterday and my partner noticed that it was quiet, but a few people came in. suddenly we noticed that the merciful stool turned around as if he was closing and we quickly said we would like another drink. this was rejected when we said in she closing we would go. I told her I would finish my existing drink. then she went and turned the music. I have since considered the website as the first page says, it is open on further on the website after some...

my family and I made a walk before I arrived in this pub on Saturday, the januar, I went first to ask her whether she still served food (her website said they serve food til The...Waitresses in the bar (which did not wear face masks) exchanged views and then answered no. I went out and asked my partner, who is a white man, who speaks English in English to make the same question. he came back and said they told him they still serve food. we went back and asked to see the menu. They then said that they served only those who booked to eat. there were many empty tables inside and outside the pubs. the people at the table were still served for eating. but since the waitresses were not even trying...
