Great venue for kids birthday parties, both indoor (soft play) and outdoor (playground) active areas for kids with sweet shop and party room with good variety of food for kids . Great bar with an exclusive ale brewed for the pub. Friendly staff Service: 5

You can't go wrong at this place! The prices are reasonable, and the kids love it. There's a nice park outside, and they offer soft play inside. The pub area is also very inviting for adults. Overall, I would give the service and location a perfect score of 5!

My partner surprised me for Valentine's Day by booking a dinner and a room. The meal was wonderful, and the staff were delightful, always accommodating. In the main restaurant, there’s a good amount of seating available. The bar boasts a wide selection of drinks, including a coffee machine and flavored syrups. The menu offers a great variety of pub classics, steaks, and burgers; I particularly enjoyed the T-bone steak, which was fantastic. The children’s menu also provides a nice selection. The food we had on both visits was really high-quality, and the service was outstanding—truly five-star. We loved it so much that we decided to book our daughter’s second birthday party there!

I had a fantastic night in July for the Coldplay concert in Cardiff. This place is truly a hidden gem. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even went above and beyond by driving us to the train station when our taxi was late. We enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal upon arrival and had a few drinks in the lovely bar. The rooms were clean, and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in away from home. The atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone was extremely friendly. I would definitely go back and stay there again without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Although we often arrived after dinner service, the staff was always very accommodating, either preparing something for us or taking our order over the phone during our drive from Barry. The inn's location is perfect; it's conveniently close to Barry while also being nestled in the beautiful countryside. The staff members were consistently excellent, particularly one young gentleman whose name I regret not remembering; he truly went above and beyond in providing outstanding customer service. The pub itself is a delightful space, both indoors and in the garden, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and inviting.
