"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return, in fact I've already booked for next Saturday. I would give this place five stars across the board."

great food and service. excellent value. we had seabark, chicken pakora, and huh goujons (tenders.) came on a thirst to peak time and wait only 10.

Great service at Tides tonight. course menu is brilliant and so filling. Prawns are to die for and desserts are beautiful. Jawbox Pineapple is a must

we have eaten here in portrush during our trip to North Ireland. oktober was cold and nebulous, but this restaurant on the coast was a warm and welcoming. Speisekarte ansehen

The food was excellent. We chose to sit on the lower level, but found it to be a bit cool whenever the door was opened. The upstairs seating area is more cozy.

This restaurant is fantastic for dinner. The service is welcoming and prompt, with friendly staff. The three-course meal is incredible value for money, especially considering it costs the same as just the main course.

"Heard so many good reviews about Quays gastro bar in portrush so called in on a Friday around 7.00pm. It was quite busy with holiday families however we had a short wait in the beer garden which was very pleasant and had a beer during our wait for restaurant. The restaurant itself was in contrast to the beer garden was very dark in fact the walls were painted black and ambiance not great for a dining experience (we would have been happy sitting in the enclosed section of the beer garden) The meal itself was fair to poor, my rump steak texture was not like it should be I had the feeling it was put through some sort of tenderising process and not great like a good steak freshly cooked should be, garlic fries were just ok. My wife chicken strips coated in breadcrumbs the coating so salty she could not eat them, I am more salt tolerant but they were so salty I could not eat them either. We are not people who complain and the staff were very pleasant and I did leave a tip. So Quays I have to say huge disappointment and will not return."

"My partner and I brought our dog with us to the restaurant and asked for seating recommendations. We were seated at a table out front where smokers were coming and going from inside. We were informed that there was a heater, but it only provided warmth for about 2 minutes. The canopy above us was dripping due to the rain, and the ground was sloped in a way that caused flooding in some areas. Our dog ended up getting wetter while leaving than when he arrived, as he had to lay on a wet paved area. The music was extremely loud, making conversation impossible. Despite requesting for it to be turned down, it never happened. We had to eat facing the street, with passersby checking out our food. Additionally, a drinks delivery lorry arrived and the deliverymen made a lot of noise as they passed by us. One of them even spat on the ground. The barman/manager seemed indifferent when I mentioned that the food was good but the seating was not ideal. Instead, he chose to chat with two young ladies and their dog at the table next to us."

"I’ve been a fan of Morellis for the best part of half a century and thought that I had tasted all that the famous brand had to offer. Recently a friend who lives in Portstewart suggested that I try the whipped ice cream that is exclusive to the happy little shop ‘Morellis to go’. Stepping inside the bright, happy little shop is like stepping into an Italian gelateria. The tiny little shop festooned with its vibrant murals and brightly coloured furniture bears testimony to its rich Italian heritage. This shop is all about ice cream. Look closely and a little way behind the myriad of ice cream, smiling at you from the cabinets, and you will see a simple little nondescript machine that churns out the most delicious homemade ice cream. Clearly the whipped ice cream is a secret that the locals like to keep for themselves. Seems I was especially lucky to be there on a day (and several times since) when the whipped Ice Cream had been made with award winning abernethy butter. Be warned you will want to return many times to this fabulous gelateria."

"We were under the impression that we would have a private space in the back room or a quiet corner when we made our reservation, but unfortunately we were placed in a loud area with 80s music playing. This made it difficult to hear and was disappointing for our event. Despite this, the overall experience was still great. The price would have been more reasonable if we had been given the private space we requested, but since we were out in the main area it felt a bit expensive. I will still give it 4 stars, as it may have been our mistake for not researching the environment beforehand. Hopefully this review will help future guests make a more informed decision."

"Service was awful, it took ages for our breakfast to arrive, had our coffee finished. I ordered chilli eggs which was tasty, but the sourdough was as hard as bricks. Had to ask for knives and forks. My wife had Avo toast and she had to be so careful not to break her teeth. This is not to mention the cost, which was expensive, for the price I expected better service. Atmosphere was horrible, it was like the staff didn’t want to be there. Definitely won’t be back."
