"Fantastic food (I had the 8oz rump steak served rare) and friendly service. The food didn't come quickly which I was glad about as I was enjoying the atmosphere and was in no rush. You won't get as wide a selection of drinks as you might find in town but I can understand this. And they have Hob Goblin and San Miguel on tap so I was quite happy. Great views if you're there on a sunny day. Dogs are welcome in the bar room and beer garden so you can bring you silly friend and still get a meal. Would definitely go again."

A fantastic pub and if you like steaks there is no better place. You even have great views of the Derbyshire countryside. We have had a great meal with our two great friends Lyndon and Melanie Whitehead

Been last night for a meal for my partners mums birthday ...i had lasagne 2 had the gamon and 1 had fish all cooked lovely all fresh and red hot food will defently be going again staff polite and service very good

We came for steak night Tuesday, can honestly say it was the best steak I had ever had, Cooked to perfection. We asked for salad instead of peas and that was served at no extra cost. Great service. Highly recommend!

On Thursday, October 20, 2017, we enjoyed a meal and then had the opportunity to choose from 100 different cakes for dessert. The food was hot and delicious, and the chips were the best I've ever had. The pub had a friendly and clean atmosphere, and the staff were very welcoming. We definitely want to visit again, as we still have 99 more cakes to try!

we were with our children tonight and we loved it absolutely! we sat in the garden (ideal with children to have the open space! in the sunshine. we had camembert to share as starter who was delicious, and we had a steak and lachsfilet for the main course. the two little ones had chicken bugs and fish finger it was all delicious, perfectly cooked and perfectly presented. the personal was beautiful, wee beautiful.
