Poor overall experience from start to finish. Waited 1 hour 25 min for main courses (one of which was a salad) despite restaurant being half empty. Food very average. Toilets flooded wading through water to get to urinal. Wouldnt recommend or go back. This is the 3rd time I've visited this last time the food was not as good. I was very disappointed hence my scoring the menu was not as good I had to use a variety of starters for my mains as no fish. I felt that it was rushed and I was given the last in the pot of the fish starterr I do like the place. They are dog-friendly too, with a dedicated area for pets and a special doggy menu available. I highly recommend this place! As for parking, we visited for Sunday lunch, so it was quite busy; however, we were lucky enough to find the last available spot. I enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at the restaurant. The braised lamb shoulder was incredibly tender and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. Accessibility was great for disabled customers; my mother is in a wheelchair, and we encountered no issues. The lemon tart with the heavenly sorbet was the perfect way to end the meal. I hadn't been here in over 10 years, and I found myself wondering why I had waited so long to return.

I had a delightful family celebration at the two breweries in December to commemorate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Berry. We rented the private room with a round table, and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, complete with a lovely tree. We even set up our own little disco with music we brought, featuring all the songs my parents love. The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly courteous and attentive. It was truly a memorable evening. I highly recommend this charming pub. Thank you!
