The Vanbrugh - Speisekarte

This is a nice looking pub, I particularly liked the slightly unusual area to the back left of the pub (not the back right that is Gastrocorner).

Here's the evidence that the visible kitchen may be more than  a party trick: the tartar sauce appeared to be truly homemade the sample on the plate of

a nice little local, beautiful menu and beer. no tourist here! recently renovated and has a beautiful room back and a garden also. a few tvs are not to kill, but nice to see the rugby!

was on the road too foot and came over this beauty and thought to try this house. So I went with a friend to this place and I absolutely love the decor of the ambient. I loved the place absolutely.

Away from the town centre on a Monday night, The Vanbrugh plays host to one of the best pub quizzes in the southeast area. There's a heated marquee with ample seating and comfortable sofas by the bar, perfect for drinks with friends and a bit of fun to ease you into the start of the working week.

Not a nice experience here. The staff were rude and lazy and seemed more interested in their own conversations than attending to customers need. Food average, not worth the money. Although the selection of beers on offer was wide and impressive, the pricing was not! My advice? Go elsewhere in Greenwich to get better food, service and a cheaper price.

Had A Fantastic night at The Vanbrugh on last night before lockdown Participated in the Quiz night which was lively and great fun and is on every Wednesday night The pub was virtually at full capacity but staff were excellent friendly and very efficient I had Burger and chips which was very nice and Chips were fantastic tonight. They unsurprisingly given the circumstances ran out of five points pale ale...noooo! However they had Anspach Hopday pale ale cans and the Moretti were both very good alternatives Fantastic way to go our in style before lockdown and look forward to be able to visit again hopefully in the not too dim distant future.
