"The setting is impressive, I sat outside on the waterfront seating area and not inside the venue itself. The seating was wet and uncomfortable, with no padding despite requesting it. The staff were friendly and helpful, but seemed inexperienced and poorly trained (mostly students), likely due to the pandemic. The lack of training was evident, especially when it came to the menu. This was particularly disappointing considering the hype surrounding the new look and launch of the restaurant. The food was mediocre overall, with the exception of the basic but good pizza. The smoked salmon bagel was not toasted, and the hot dog was subpar. Our orders did not arrive together, and we had to call out to the staff to get their attention. There were multiple mix-ups with our order, with the staff attempting to redeliver it multiple times within the hour we were there. Overall, I was underwhelmed by the experience, and hearing about management mistreating the young staff only added to my disappointment. It is unacceptable to mistreat employees, especially young ones. I hope the experience inside the venue is better, but it seems that the issues with the food quality persist. Management needs to address these issues and properly train and support their staff. It is important to value and respect your employees."

Found the view while walking along the sea front was a great little spot to stop for a cup of coffee, plenty of seating, the staff were friendly and the coffee was amazing :

First visit, its a lovely spot, Burger was over-priced for nothing special so you would hope the service would be good. Instead we got an arrogant individual called James who just added to our disappointment with the visit. His poor attitude made sure we won't go again, nasty.

Thought it would be nice to have breakfast near the beach before Autumn starts. Plentiful breakfast but expensive. Couldn’t eat it all so if you like a big breakfast and don’t mind paying about £12 for it (without a drink) go for it. I don’t need so much and so will go elsewhere in futureGood beach location

Am a local and regularly used to go here. Haven't been for a few months and popped in for a drink cake on a recent walk. Cake selection was dire and drinks cold. Sat in the downstairs dog friendly zone and window sills dirty with layers of dust, cobwebs dead flies. So dissapointed as has so much potential and in prime location. Prices have gone up but service and offering have gone down

I ordered my meal at 17.30ish and my estimated delivery time was 18.20, my food didn’t arrive until 18.55.. an hour and 25 minutes to deliver a hot dog and Mac n cheese bites. What made it worse was the fact it was cold needed to be heated up. Apart from that it was a nice meal. The good thing I will say is that the restaurant were kind enough to phone me to let me know a certain item was sold out asked what I would have preferred instead of just giving me any old thing.

I always order from u guys and ur food is outstanding but this time the chips wernt fresh they looked like they were from the night before also i paid for garlic mayo and i didnt receive it and my hotdog was cold... im a chef my self and i wouldnt even think of surving people low standard food when you just run after money and profit youll lose alot of customers which will lead you guys to shut down. I hope youre food standard stays excellent as always money will come if youre customers are satisfied im speaking on behalf of my self and who ever is unsatisfied by youre services many thanks.
