"While on holiday in Westbury with my dad, we decided to enjoy a Chinese meal and chose this restaurant based on its high ratings on TripAdvisor and Google. It's easy to see why it receives such praise. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, certainly among the best Chinese restaurants we’ve visited. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good Chinese meal. I also suggest making a reservation, as it can get quite busy. When we visited, there were only a couple of tables occupied, but it started to fill up by the time we left. "Six of us went for meal Saturday night,3 couples. Well had a lovely welcome as we arrived.we were sat at a large table near the Great log burner. The young waitress did an excellent job looking after us all night. Never too pushy but always on hand . 4 of us had pate starters which was really good,the other 2 had garlic mushrooms which were also very good. For mains the steaks were cooked lovely as were the chips. The cajun and fajita were also enjoyed. The gammon was enjoyed although a little over cooked. Sweets were polished off to end a good night. Star of the show was the girl on the bar who was bubbly and fun and looked after us really well. Great night give this place a go. Prices reasonable as well."

"We are staying locally at a campsite and wanted somewhere nice to go for a pub meal. We saw the reviews on here so decided to book for a midweek meal, so glad we did book as it was really busy. What a beautiful place in a lovely village, looks very new inside. Staff were excellent and the midweek special menu is amazing value. Definitely one to visit if you are in the area"

"Went with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we arrived and ordered some drinks and advised a young lady that we were booked in for 7.30and a table of four , she couldn’t find a booking and spoke with another lady behind the bar and she said that we could be fitted in. No apologies Our friends arrived and I went to the bar and ordered there there drinks , one of them was a pint of beer that was warm , not wanting to complain I returned to the bar and asked a young man for some ice he obliged. No offer to change but my friend was happy to use the ice . We ordered our food and this took some time to arrive and I actually noticed people who arrived after us getting there food first , but perhaps because they were a table of two . Food arrived and we were asked if we needed anything else and two of us asked for ketchup. I’ve got to say at this point the food was delicious and I’ve not any issues whatsoever with the food. So we were only giving x2 napkins and then a gentleman who we later found out to be the manager asked how was the food “all good thanks “ and we asked him for some more napkins he brought them over and one of the party asked for ketchup as it had still not arrived, his response was “ why didn’t you say that before as it would have save another journey “ not really the response we were expecting considering we had requested it previously., Then when we received the ketchup I’d eaten half of my meal thankfully I didn’t want any as we we received a tiny amount probably a teaspoon certainly not enough for two people. My friend went to get some more drinks and was ignored by the bar staff and when he was finally attended to the young lady was more interested in talking to her colleague while pouring the drinks. I felt quite embarrassed as I’d suggested going to the Nags head and our friends were disappointed with the service so we decided that we would speak to the manager and give them the opportunity to discuss our disappointments , we told him of our concerns and he apologised for his comments regarding the other journey to our table however one of the young ladies behind the bar decided to step in and her comment is the main reason for my complaint is “if your not happy don’t come back “ I have worked in retail and hospitality for over 40 years and I saddened by this situation and disappointed that I feel the need to complain about a local restaurant ."
